Neighbourhood
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.

Great bar for a relax drink during shopping in soho. Mostly friendly staff (you can get unlucky like we did once but hope that is an exception). Original rooms. Nice place to stay. Great Japanese restaurant across the entrance.

Ham Yard is designed by Kit Kemp who is a master of color and good taste. The hotel is so beautiful it is hard to leave the site and go out to busy Soho. There are plenty of fine details to look at and savor - the artwork, fabrics, dinning room dishes, original lightning -

What's the easiest way to get there from Heathrow?
Easiest way is to take the Piccadilly line from Heathrow to Piccadilly Circus. From there short walk down Shaftesbury avenue, then left up great windmill street and then left onto ham yard. Down there on the right. About 10 min walk.
