Very good central london location. Easy access to metro and bus services. Despite next to waterloo station, there was no noise from the train movement. Very quiet. Room had sufficient cupboard, hangers, drawers, fridge, microwave, Nescafé machine with variety of coffee capsules and tea. Breakfast, self service, to serve any diet. All and all very comfortable stay

Hotel's Favourite
Perfect family hotel in a great location, with a view of The London Eye! We booked a studio room for 2 adults, a 13 and 11 year old, and we had plenty of space. The room was really 2 rooms separated by a kitchen and bathroom, which gave us adult/kid space to unwind after a busy day! The kids shared the sofa bed. We put them top to tail, and requested 2 single duvets to prevent them from arguing. This was ready for our arrival, plus their towels were made up in the shape of elephants - a great touch!! Both the kids and us slept really well! The beds were comfortable. We had room 620, right in front of the elevators. There was no noise though, from either within the hotel or outside- it was a really peaceful stay! I think the rooms must be sound proofed, but there was no slamming of doors/ noise from lift. The room had everything we could have wanted! The bathroom had a walk in shower and separate bath, and was spacious for the location. We were provided with an iron/ironing board, microwave, mini fridge, cutlery/plates, lovely bottles of Elemis shampoo/conditioner/shower wash, tissues, flannels as well as towels etc. We didn’t need to ask for anything. Breakfast was AMAZING!! We thought it was the best buffet breakfast! We used the bar/outside area too and this was a relaxing facility to have at the end of a busy day. The food and drink are lovely! The hotel staff really go above and beyond. They are a credit to the hotel! The location was fab also. We used the tube to travel everywhere - from Waterloo. This station is 5 mins down the road and tubes come every 2 mins. We could leave the hotel and be in Leicester Sq, at Tower of London/ Kensington museums 15/20 mins later, for £2.50 per trip (with an Oyster card). South Bank is <5 mins away, as are a Marks and Spencer’s/Boots the Chemist for supplies. We plan to return later in the year and won’t stay any where else in London now!

Just returned from a 2 night stay, my first visit. I was upgraded to a suite. Check in was quick and the reception area smelled gorgeous! My room was lovely with a living area with large settee and TV and a kitchenette. Bathroom was lovely with a separate shower and complimentary Elemis products. The bed was so comfortable! I ordered room service of vegan burger and frees. Didn't have to wait long and it was really tasty. No issues at breakfast. Had cereal the first morning although there were plenty of other options. On the second day I had a cooked breakfast which was delicious especially the scrambled eggs. All the staff were friendly and professional. Great location, felt very safe. Highly recommend.

One night stay in a twin room with a friend. Ideal for our trip as the room was clean . We were hardly in the room but the shower was hot and breakfast was decent enough. Also we ate in the restaurant , fish and chips was tasty and a drink in the bar area suited us too.

We had an amazing stay at the Park Plaza. It was in a great location, our room was beautiful, with a lovely view of the city - which was a nice bonus. The staff were all lovely. Hannah checked us in, and she was really helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was really nice as well, plenty of selection. The staff were attentive and available for any extras needed at breakfast, and one of the waiters (I didn't get his name) got me a bowl of milk, so I could add in the cereal at my own pace - a really nice added touch. I would have loved to stay for supper as well, as the restaurant/dining room looked great. Will have to come back again in 2024.

My friends stayed here for a girls weekend in London as we were visiting the theatre and woman & home event at county hall. We had a wonderful stay. They really looked after us with some extra treats. The location is excellent and was perfect for our plans. The rooms were comfortable, particularly the beds and the service was very good too. A nice warm and friendly atmosphere. They enjoyed the breakfast and had a lovely stay indeed. Thanks Team CH!

Spent a weekend as a couple in an Executive Studio Room-London Eye View. The good: The room was clean, tidy and quiet and the bed was comfy. The view of London eye and parliament was nice enough. The central location meant lots of the big London attractions were in walking distance. Also very close to Waterloo underground and Pier for tube and clipper connections to wider city. Staff seemed fine, but had very little interaction with them to be honest. The not so good: The hotel and area it sits within are pretty soulless. The room was looking tired and the layout was odd. A long thin suite, with bedroom next to exterior window, enclosed bathroom in middle and lounge on the inside towards the corridor, with no natural light. I don't know why the bathroom and lounge were not the other way around to allow the light and nice view in to the lounge?? Very overpriced for what you get, then breakfast is £20 per person, per day on top (recommend the black penny nearby instead). Washbasin needed attention, didn't drain readily. Also had to specifically ask for refills of toiletries, tea and coffee. It was fine, but based on the price and other reviews I expected much better. I'd be tempted to opt for something cheaper with more character, in a nice leafy suberb next time.

I stayed here for two nights. The room was really comfortable and well laid out and the bathroom was equally nice with a bath with proper shower over. I was lucky and got it for a similar price to the Premier Inn just round the corner which I’ve occasionally stayed in before - this was much better in terms of the comfort of the room, the hotel’s facilities as well as the sense of attention from the staff who were all unfailingly friendly and helpful. There’s a very comfortable restaurant and bar and, although I didn’t use it, room service too which is always a plus. A very nice touch was the option not to have my room serviced in advance of my second night apart from having anything replenished for which I could choose either a bottle of wine or a voucher towards food in the hotel. Finally, it’s a great location - a few minutes’ walk from Waterloo, the Eye and the Southbank Centre and really easy for getting anywhere in Central London. Providing the prices don’t rocket up, I’ll definitely make this the place I stay whenever I come up to town.

I spent five nights at the hotel, in one of their penthouse suites. The amazing view from the wrap around balcony made it well worth the price. This is not a luxury hotel, but the location, spa and breakfast do not disappoint. The only downside for me where the uncomfortable bed pillows and overwhelming fragrance in the lobby.

The overall impression is of a hotel on a downward trajectory. My late night check in was depressingly, almost surreally slow, my superior room on the 6th floor had many signs of aging (and had never been luxurious). Breakfast quality ok but I was frustrated at the plentiful staff walking around and pretending they’re busy by carrying around a dirty plate or two but never offering any help for coffee or anything. Needs a couple well intentioned operations and quality managers before it deserves the pricing it commands.

Dear guest, thank you for sharing your review. So sorry to hear that you experienced a long wait at check-in. That is certainly not up to our usual standards and not the warm welcome we aim to give you. I am sorry that your room fell short of expectations on this occasion. We want all of our guests to have a comfortable stay and a room they're happy with, and we apologise you did not have that experience. I will ask our Facilities team to check this room as a priority. We hope we can welcome you back and pleasantly surprise you next time. Kind regards, Santa
