We stayed here as it was close to the o2 and we wanted somewhere different instead of the usual corporate hotel. We were not disappointed. Located just a couple of minutes from the church and within 5 minute walk from the Cutty Sark. We stayed in the blue room, it was absolutely beautiful, old world charm and a fabulous iron...

One person's garbage is another person's treasure, apparently. I made the mistake of putting my shoulder-bag on the floor in a corner of our room...the underside came up covered in cat fur. This place needs a serious scrubbing! On the up side, Number 16 is absolutely perfectly located, the room was quiet, and the bathroom well-tended (except for the ten-year-stained,...

As others have said, this is not a corporate stop-over and if you are looking for mass produced anodyne blandness then number 16 is probably not for you. However, if you want a little piece of calm in a hectic city, with comfort, and no lack of style, then hurry yourself to book. I think there are a grand total...

My husband and I stayed here last Saturday and it was perfect. Very good location, beautifully decorated property and friendly and welcoming hosts. I highly recommend this B&B, my husband and I will definitely come back! Robert and Nic are very welcoming and interesting, we really enjoyed talking to them over breakfast. The breakfast was very tasty with good quality...

We often stay in corporate hotels for business, so it was great to find this place for a leisure weekend away. The rooms aren't large but are clean and full of character. The location is superb for exploring Greenwich and the Cutty Sark, but also an easy commute to Canary Wharf and central London, we didn't have enough time to...

I stayed for a night. What a lovely quirky and quaint b&b. I have read the other reviews and yes the rooms are on the small side but they are clean and tidy. The major attraction is location. A 2 minute walk to the center of Greenwich but off the main road so very quite. Robert and nick are lovely...

This was ideal for my partner and I. It was our anniversary, we are from the area and planned to return to Greenwich where we spent our first date therefore for a couple like us, was perfect. The interior design was beautiful and the characters of the owners really shone threw. The laid back yet classy feel was very refreshing....

We reserved all the three rooms of this small B&B for a trip to London and we got a good discount. It is conveniently located, few minutes from the DLR Cutty Sark station and a bus stop served 24h from central London and in a very peaceful corner at the same time. Greenwich and its Observatory worth a visit, but...

Thank you for your review and I am glad you were happy with your stay. We have recently undertaken a refurbishment including new carpets and blinds. We cannot do anything about the size of the rooms but do our best within them. I do hope you will come back sometime to stay again.

Your hosts are the most pleasant people but it cannot make up for what you get: in my case it was the tiniest single room I have ever been given (and I travel a lot on my own for my company!). I know we are in London but still I think it no bigger than say 6 square meters. The...

Thank you for your review. The green room is a single room and it is a small room. We do point that out when booking. We have done everything possible to make it charming. It has its own facilities and everything you might need. It has just been renovated and now has a new shower. For those who would prefer...

We stayed here for 4 nights last week and loved it. If you are looking for a warm, friendly environment, cracking breakfast and great banter then look no further. Slap bang in the middle of Greenwich, a stones throw from the river front, surrounded by restaurants and pubs and brilliant for the O2 and the river taxi. Whenever we are...

Staying in Greenwich

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.

“The rooms are a little bit wonky due to it being an old building but this is a positive not a negative. Our room had a great view of the alley and church but I can't imagine the other double being any less inviting. The single room is very compact but charming.”
