Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A perfect location for theatreland. We saw Frank Skinner at the Gielgud Theatre only 10 minutes walk away. Likewise a pleasant walk down to the Thames for a river taxi to Greenwich for a day out. Similarly a wander to Covent Garden Market. Easy to get to from Leicester Square and Covent Garden tube stations. Hub facilities good (as usual) and a spot-on breakfast for only a fiver each....no complaints there

Hotel's Favourite
This venue is so central. I wanted to visit art galleries this time. I left my bag at the hotel. They were very friendly and happy to do so. I spend a culture vulture day of art hoovering. I met my life later. She’d been networking. We had a few drinks with her colleagues. When we returned to the hotel we had a drink in the bar. The staff were so lovely and helpful. They are a credit to the company. We have night two tonight. We will be back. Many thanks 🙏

Stayed here two nights for theatre trip. I chose Hub Covent Garden because it was located were I needed to be and seemed to be good value for the location. I wasn't expecting much as I knew I was paying for a 'budget' hotel. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel was nicer than I was expecting. It is essentially a Premier Inn paired back a bit. It was basic, but functional and welcoming. The staff seemed to work well as a team and were attentive and helpful. The rooms were very small, but clean and cheerful. Breakfast was the standard Premier inn breakfast but just the continental option (no cooked breakfast). My only real complaint was the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room, however unlimited free tea and coffee was available at the bar. There is a small bar area which provides a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a drink. In summary, this hotel provides a clean, safe, comfortable place to put your head down in central London at a competitive price. If that's all you are looking for then I would highly recommend it. However, if you are looking for a hotel to provide a luxury experience you might be left wanting I am a wheelchair user and booked an accessible room. I was impressed with the accessibility as this can be hard to find in central London. Would recomend this hotel for wheelchair access.

Shame as the location was great and the staff were trying their best and were friendly. Blinds broken and I figured it was a 'fake' window as arrived in the dark. I was travelling with a small kid and it was the morning before we realised that the window was infact to a blank wall to an alley way. Freaked us both out as we were basically on show on the ground floor all night. No idea if the alleyway was accessible but still not nice. Small kids love screens to chill out and the tv movies didn't work and staff confirmed it wasn't working. They advised screen mirroring from mobile device but this was temperamental at best and kept shutting us out. Not sure if the WiFi was patchy but was dropping out constantly. It was a tad noisy but you're in the thick of it so to be expected, but there is 100% a tube right under the hotel. The place looks tired but seemingly clean on the surface. The pillow case did have a nasty stain on it when we went to bed and at this stage I just turned the pillow over and prayed I didn't catch anything. Sad really as location is great. So much room for improvement but not the fault of the staff.

Hub by premier inn is perfectly located for exploring by foot west end shows, national portrait gallery, covent Garden, Leicester sq, Oxford street, carnaby st, Chinatown, British museum, London eye, Westminster and Buckingham palace. First time staying in London when we didn’t need public transport and walked everywhere. Underground nearby easy access if you want to save time and explore further afield. Lots of restaurants, cafes and shops in immediate vicinity. Hub room very comfortable, warm with air con and clean, all the usb sockets you will ever need. Wi-Fi and tv in room. Tea/coffee available free downstairs would have preferred this in room. Bathroom very well equipped super shower and towels. Room more suited to single occupancy and perfect for travelling light, you will need to be on personal terms if sharing as bathroom is practically in the room. Great for short stays - seriously space saving lots of clever storage and space saving solutions. Staff worked hard and were very helpful. Availed of early check in for 10 pounds and used luggage storage on departure. Downstairs waiting area and free tea/coffee useful for groups to meet.

The hotel was super clean, every staff member was friendy, attentive, nothing was to much effort despite being so very busy. Great team work! Service was quick and more than met what we expected from a busy hub. Our three night stay was super :-)

If you only need somewhere to sleep after going to a show, then a Hub is absolutely perfect. The breakfast is superb, a lovely hot shower, good WiFi and the room does what it says on the tin and it is jolly good value for money.

If you’re visiting in a wheelchair and find it uncomfortable walking, I recommend you request an accessible accessible room. I say accessible twice as we were given an accessible room, but the bed was so close to the wall, I could not access the bathroom or table. I let staff know and they told me “we have had this problem before”, so i’m really disappointed that they are aware of the problem and havn’t decided to fix it for future disabled customers. The staff member was very helpful and found us a room replacement very quickly. I was worried we weren’t going to have anywhere to sleep for the night. We were very lucky that there wasn’t anyone booked into that room. Our new room was very nice, big square bed, nice bathroom with a fully equipped wet room with lots of handle bars and an emergency pull cord in the room. Not the biggest of rooms but had just enough for some turning space. There also is no drop curbs directly by the hotel. Theres one on each side a few meters down, meaning you have to use the road which was pretty scary. Getting out a taxi was very difficult too as no curbs on the left hand side as it’s a one way road.

Can't beat the location! Easy walking distance to theatres, shops around Covent Garden, and plenty of restaurants and pubs. Room was compact and clean, and surprisingly quiet. We slept very well! Will stay again.

Very modern hotel in prime location for the theatre district. Rooms are small and cramped with double beds which are pushed against the wall (so you can only get on the bed from one side). No cupboards or table. No tea/coffee making facilities in room, but coffee/tea available from the bar downstairs. Very clean and otherwise good.
