Came into the pub with a few friends and was pleasantly welcomed by a young gent called Jack who made me feel very welcome and accommodated for my every need. Will certainly be coming Back! Thank you very much
I love going to the Warrington. The pub is so nicely decorated, like a classic elegant ball room with, vintage furniture. The drink selection is ok, but missing the most popular beers. Great service, keen staff and facilities are always clean. This area is exceptional for feeling posh and enjoying an elegant drink.
We arrived early and were able to check in early which was lovely! Very unusual. The room was quirky, individual and comfortable, making us wonder what the other rooms were like. The decor downstairs in the bar left us speechless- it really needs to be seen to be understood... The breakfasts were lovely and of good quality, the staff were friendly and accommodating. We are definitely looking to come back.
Stayed at this place for one night and was pleasantly surprised when I got there. There was an open fire, a decent bar (not that I had time to try anything as I was meeting a friend for drinks and dinner) and welcoming staff. The place was busy which is always a good sign to me. I stayed in The Milliner room which was lovely, nice and spacious, with a comfortable bed and had a separate wardrobe area that lead to the bathroom which was well equiped with the usual bits. I slept well and you can hear the road outside a bit but it wasn't really a problem for me. I had the cooked breakfast the next morning which was superb and was easliy the best I have had in a while at a hotel. Good quality ingredients and well presented and cooked perfectly. I wished I had time to try the main menu. The only things I noticed which were negative is that the sink plugs were broken and I couldn't get one open again after closing it. Fortunately there was a 2nd sink. Also a lot of the light bulbs were broken and hadn't been replaced. I admit I am very picky, but these could easily have been checked and fixed. Finally, smaller sachets of coffee would have been better so less was wasted in the cafetiere that was provided in the room. I had one coffee and left most of the pack of ground coffee unused which would have been thrown away I assume after left. I would stay again if in the area and would like to try the evening menu if I did.…
This pub/hotel lived up to absolutely all expectations plus more. Stunning architecture, fantastic decor, luxurious roll top copper bath and spectacular range of breakfast dishes. Will definitely be staying there again.
