Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The location was excellent with lots of bars and restaurants very close by. We were checked in quickly by reception before finding our room. The room was clean and easy to find. Lara and Daron greeted us behind the bar and offered us great friendly service. I'd would stay here again.

This hotel absolutely went above and beyond my expectations... for the price, it's incredible. My room is clean and well-furnished, perfect for traveling solo. It might be a bit of a tight squeeze for more people, but who is spending all their time in their room in London anyway? But what really makes this hotel special is the staff. I've had interactions with probably 8 members of staff at this point, and every single one has been both helpful and friendly. I've made strange requests and generally been a bit of a pest on this trip (thanks to an unexpected injury) and the staff has been wonderful about every single request. Lara in the bar is a spot of sunshine. The food is great and the beer is cold. Can't really ask for more.

Clean comfortable room at a fair price. Perfect for a stay when you plan to be out and about much of the day. Staff made us feel right at home for our first stay ever in the UK. Cafe food and bar well managed.

Fantastic staff, Quiet room, ideal location and great breakfast. What's not to like from check in to check out. 3 particular staff members went above and beyond - Chelsea who managed to get our 2 parties almost adjoining rooms even after check in as we had originally been separated from our friends, Linden whose bar service was excellent and the lady who checked us in for breakfast was so pleasant both mornings.

Good food. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy. Brilliant location. Great cup of tea. Lovely decor. Max was especially helpful in the restaurant. And the Daryl behind the bar was also very helpful. Thank you for a great time. We will definitely come back.

I stayed here for two nights in Feb.2024 for a business trip. The hotel has an excellent location near Finsbury square, really close to the City of London, Liverpool street station, etc. More importantly, there's an excellent Chinese restaurant just across the street where I ate three times over this two-night stay. The room was quite decent for the price, quiet, couldn't have expected better at this price point. The receptionists, Kingsley and Syan, were very helpful and polite and helped me with bag storage and restoring my magnetic key twice after I accidentally placed it near my phone. The only thing to improve would be to have free Wi-fi, since it's not included and it costs £3 per day,
