Spent a week in the Jurys Inn and the experience was so relaxing and quiet. The room was really clean and had everything you could possibly need, iron, iron board, kettle with tea, coffee, chocolate, milk, coffee machine, bottled water, fresh towels and was serviced every day. The self serve breakfast had a massive choice with hot and cold options. The bar area was always busy with a relaxing atmosphere and the staff was so welcoming and friendly. When staying in the hotel you have the use of the gym, pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. This hotel has everything you would possibly need including an on site car park. I would definitely stay in a Jurys Inn hotel again.

We stayed at this lovely hotel from Christmas Eve until the 28th December and then again for one night on the 2nd January. Each time we got very large suites with great views across to the lit up town. The hospitality we experienced was outstanding! Beginning with reception for check in to the restaurant and bar staff Matthew, Mark, and for breakfast Stephen and Liz the chef. This team are one of the most professional and courteous hotel employees I have ever met in all my travels around the world. Their team led by Emma the manager , brought smiles to the faces of my family even though covid is again at its peak in Middlesbrough. Reception staff were always friendly and helped if we needed anything. Stephen is one of our favourites who we always like to see at breakfast and he even arranged for us to have breakfast (which we hadnt prebooked) due to having an early departure.
The housekeeping of the hotel was excellent and accommodating even though I apologise profusely at the amount of rubbish they would have to depose of whenever we stay at Christmas due to all the presents Santa brought.
I would highly recommend this hotel.
It has a great location and one can walk to many great spots from it.
Only slight grumble is due to covid the menu is very limited for food and not many options for very plain fussy eaters like myself and no specific child menu however they did accommodate as much as they could and the meal deal we had was such good value we really couldn't complain and it was worth it for the wine alone. It is more of a feedback comment than anything else.

Visited here for one night. Location is great, right in the city. Only two floors were open due to the virus, which was fine. The room on first inspection was tidy and well presented. However, the bathroom had a sewer smell inside which I had to shut the door at night as it was so bad. The bath was covered in mould and the shower leaked.
The room next door I could hear all
conversations, even at 2am, I could hear their tv shows and bowel movements. Walls were far too thin and completely ruined my sleep. The dinner, which was ordered and had to be collected, was over priced and poor quality, clearly bought in and microwaved. The breakfast hamper left much to be desired (see picture), not worth the money.
On the plus side the bed was super comfortable. Wouldn’t return I am afraid.

Hotel in a central location, easily found from the motorway. Due to covid-19 restrictions the gym and restaurant and bar were not open, made aware of this when booking. Was told breakfast would be a "to-go" bag delivered to the room in the morning. Consisted of a pot of fruit, a pastry, a granola and coconut milk mix and a bottle of orange juice, according to the menu in the room this would cost £11. I found it every morning about 7am outside my door, except for the last day where it was no where to be found. The room itself was small and pokey, nice decor, but a well used room, stains on the carpet, scrapes on the wall, damaged flooring in the bathroom. Comfortable bed, housekeeping refreshed the bed daily and replenished coffee tray. Quiet hotel until the weekend when it seems to become a "knocking shop" for locals. Kept awake until 530am by 4 people next door seemingly having an orgie, back and forth downstairs going for cigarettes inbetween rounds it would seem! If this is a regular occurance it would explain the poor state of the room.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. Sincerely, Emma Birkett Deputy General Manager

I have stayed at this hotel many times for business and not being disappointed, however on this occasion it failed to live up to expectations. I have stayed in many hotel chains during the lockdown and they have either offered room service or atleast a hot breakfast delivered to your room. I feel that the hotel charging you £11 for a continental breakfast which was below par was not what I expected from this hotel. The continental breakfast was terrible, no fruit, a frozen pastry and bottle of water... I expected better than this considering other hotel groups during lockdown has provided better.. on a positive note, the rooms were very clean and the hotel staff friendly and helpful regarding take aways and accommodating with cutlery. I will stay at this hotel again as it is great during normal operation.

We booked the standard twin room for 3 adults and were disappointed by the size of the room and bathroom (quite small). The bathroom wasn't very clean either and the whole experience was a pain so we ended up checking out after the first night on a two night stay. Also worth noting, only superior rooms have air conditioning at this hotel which we realised after arrival into our room. We had checked in online so when arrived at the hotel, our check in was basically just a handover of key cards with no other interaction from the staff. I saw other guests the following day getting a full intro to the city and information about the hotel facilities and restaurant which could've been valuable. The car park had a code to exit for the barrier - was not told about this and had to just assume the code I read at reception was what we needed. Have stayed in better Premier inns than this “4 star” hotel.

I must mention that out last visit (Pre covid) was very good. Though this time it was very different. As we stayed in one of the hotels very few Premium Executive rooms we are a little dissatisfied with the services provided. Our bins were not changed once through our 4 night stay. Although the room had living room including a sofa bed with A/C and a very comfortable bed it was not up to our standard in terms of service. One incredibly annoying aspect of this hotel I must mention is that one of the lifts were closed and there was lots of fuss waiting for only one lift, especially when the hotel was busy. Restaurant dinner was very disappointing especially when the prices were extortionate and menu was very limited - eating out is a cheaper option. Breakfasts were amazing and very tasty but less variety compared to out last stay. The staff were very caring and would go out of their way to solve any issues we had. The facilities in the hotel were good. But the Hot Tub was closed at the time of our stay so that was irritating. The hotel is pretty much central and very close to large shopping centres and very convenient as there is a Londis down the road. Our stay was a little disappointing but still happy!

Room Tip: Avoid the Dinner served at the hotel - too expensive and very limited menu.

Good Afternoon Happiness16209021642, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. It is great to read that in your last visit which was pre-covid, you found the hotel to be very good. Unfortunately external factors outside of our control have made it difficult for us to deliver our usual standard of product and service. As you have no doubt become aware, the impact of the pandemic, the shortage of available labour, and faced with supply chain issues continues to present significant challenges for the hospitality industry this is affecting our usual housekeeping and restaurant service. We are working with our teams to ensure that we are still providing the best service that we can and we hope that we can welcome you back to Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels in the near future. Kind Regards Melisa Customer Experience Team

Spent 2 nights here, rooms were very clean, beds very comfortable. The hotel was very easy to find, check in very fast , friendly hotel staff from reception staff housekeeping and the maintenance man who was full of information. City centre only a 5 minute walk away , Baker Street is a must to visit, I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit. Train station is only 5 minutes away from hotel as well.

It was a great location, staff were friendly and great value. This was the first time I was staying in a hotel after COVID-19, very impressed and felt safe with Jury's Inn. The breakfast was a snack bag delivered to outside our room over night with a hot roll collected from reception.

We arrived around 17:00, 8th July, as part of a Just Go Holidays 4 night coach holiday. A member of the hotel management boarded our coach & announced that due to the tragic accidental death of their G M, dinner would be served at 17:30, as the restaurant was required for his wake. He also informed us that there would be no cooked breakfast the following morning & that continental breakfasts would be left outside our rooms. Having lost a colleague in an air crash, I fully sympathise, but there was no apology, indeed the attitude was that this is OUR difficulty & guests have to move aside to accommodate our needs. An offer of complimentary drinks, or a small refund, would have been acceptable. Throughout our stay, choice of food was limited, boiled new potatoes (sometimes undercooked) were served with almost everything. Cheese & biscuits were never offered as a dessert. Breakfasts were also limited (cold until someone complained) & staples of 'full English' like mushrooms & black pudding were never on offer. One saving grace: Complimentary wine was provided at our last dinner. No explanation was given, but presumably it was a goodwill gesture to make up for the inconvenience & multiple complaints.
