Detailed Reviews
We stayed at this hotel recently, nice rooms with the added extras of tea/ coffee shower gel shampoo and moisturiser. Staff friendly and helpful and breakfast included.
With the choice of a cereals fruit and yogurt, and a full English breakfast. The hotel is located behind the train station so a good central location. The hotel doesn't have its own car park, and you can only park outside after 4pm until 10 the following morning. There is a car park at the bottom of the road where you can pay to park all day. I'm not sure of the cost as I didn't drive myself, but it always looked busy so it can't be all that bad. Overall I would stay here again.

I was looking for a hotel that met my company budget and had parking. This fitted the bill so booked in. On arrival I was greeted by a warm smile and everything was ready for me to check in, just what I needed after a 3:30 drive to get here. The hotel has parking but not a car park, so I parked on the street outside, after a couple of laps to work out where the residents zone was and where I could park.
Food stops serving at 730pm and was a good standard, freshly cooked with a good bar/ restaurant area. I would have given this hotel 4 stars however it was a hot evening and I needed to keep a window open, the hotel is on quite a busy junction so I had a mixed night sleep due to noise outside, if you're a heavy sleeper I'm sure this would not have been an issue or if I would have been in a different room away from the road.
I would come back again.

Perfectly situation hotel just a few minutes walk from the city train station.
Arrived her with a few friends for social weekend.
We were expertly met by Natalie who was very welcoming coupled with excellent knowledge of the city. Going that extra mile to point our late arriving friends in the direction of the pub we were waiting in!!
(Good ale pub just over the road with TV for sport)
Room was clean and modern and looked like it had recently been furnished.
Good bed, good size bathroom and everything we needed.
Breakfast was top notch too. Fresh coffee pot and a fry up.
Only consideration is parking. There is a pay and display just down the road (2 minute walk) otherwise you chance your arm and leave it outside. We did, as the fine is only £25 and between 3 of us we weren't too bothered. However appears as it wasn't a match day we were ok.
It's a city hotel, you can't expect lots of parking I guess.
Anyway - in short.
Ideal location
Good food
Clean & tidy room
Very friendly, professional, accommodating reception (Natalie)

from the minute we entered the hotel. we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was very nice and overlooked the front of the hotel. very clean and with lots of sunlight through the big window.
only two small things id change about the room ,some kind of voile up the window and the need for New Pillows. other than that this is a very nice hotel and will be back.

Room very clean, bed comfortable, new bathroom but very small, under eaves location made moving around room difficult. This is essentially an upmarket guest house, about 400m from the station. Limited range of dishes in the evening but there's a reasonable pub opposite and lots of other choices near station. Breakfast OK, nothing stunning. Staff were fine, certainly worth pulling into for a short visit to Norwich.

I never write reviews. Ever. But after staying at the Stracey Hotel, I felt compelled to break my self-imposed review-creation ban. In a word, this place is marvelous. I stayed for four nights in mid-April, and couldn't have been happier. It was my first ever stay in a hotel in Europe, and boy do I wish the other places I stayed on my 2 week trip were as awesome as this place.
The staff, especially Natalie, were particularly friendly, helpful and accommodating. I've never had this level of service in any hotel I've ever stayed in. The price was great, the room was much more spacious than I was anticipating, and the location was fantastic: a ten minute walk to Carrow Road (I was in town, in part, for a Norwich City FC match) and a fifteen to twenty minute walk to the city center. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and carried multiple dining options, and the restaurant/bar area was well-lit, clean and inviting.
The next time I am in Norwich, you can bet I'll be staying here again.

Friendly hotel near to centre of Norwich, clean rooms, great staff, wonderful breakfast, great location. If you have waking difficulties you may find the three steps into the hotel a struggle and also stairs to the rooms. Reception were very happy to help with luggage.

Hi,
Hair dryers are supplied in the room and an iron and ironing board are available from reception.
Many Thanks
I haven't stayed at the hotel, but I do know that the hotel is very central. It's in easy walking distance of bars, shops, restaurants etc, so its fine if you don't other other means of transport! Prince of Wales Road (which is the road opposite, over the river) is where all of the clubs and bars are!
