Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It ticked all the boxes for me during the recent stay. I would highly recommend this place for a stay. All clean and tidy. Good options looked good and everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to other guests.

Hotel's Favourite
Check in was quick and efficient and general information provided without the need to ask. The room was clean and modern, bed was very comfortable and provided a great night’s sleep, bed linen clean and fresh. Walk in shower bathroom was spotlessly clean with ample towels and nice toiletries. We had a light dinner which was adequate, nothing special to write home about, the macaroni cheese lacked cheese. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice available. Only downside is that when you look closely it is quite rundown in some areas and poorly maintained, a lot of the paintwork is chipped and noticeable. The bottom of the bathroom door is disintegrating. Small things that are easily rectified if kept on top of.

the room was ok but all the skirting boards had horrible brown marks on them.at one point i thought it was poo but i think it was chipped paint but there were quite large marks.the sink in the bathroom was cracked all the way down the middle of the sink.it was horrendous and quite big and affected the whole of the sink.not what you expect when you are paying around 150 pounds a night. the breakfast was lacklustre too.i only eat toast and bacon when away but the bread was hard before i put in into the toaster and i couldnt have any bacon.it all lokked pale and undercooked and the orange juice tasted sour so i didnt really rate our nights stay at all

The staff are what make this hotel, the 2 young males on the bar for NYEs and 2 female receptionists on the afternoon of NYE were so friendly and welcoming. A real credit to the hotel. The hotel itself is tired in places but overall a good place to get your head down for the night in Norwich. No noise disruption despite a large NYE party happening. Will be back :)

Arrival, very friendly and efficient. Lifts - out of use for floor required. Room numbers - weirdest I've ever experienced and made no sense!! Very busy, seemed to be some kind of group or outside event taking place. Car park was super busy but virtually empty later. A coach was outside reception in the morning. The room was the size of a ballroom, but in need of some TLC and modernisation. My overall impression was average - an OK place to sleep overnight, but don't expect to return.

Reason for five stars Sebastian:- Went to the restaurant was really well looked after by Sebastian a kind, sunny disposition. Steak and burger nice. Room fine and nice that dogs are allowed. Will come again if taking a flight as convenient for the Norwich airport.

First impressions were poor, staff were helpfull but decor and poor maintainance throughout the hotel was obvious. Whilst relaxing in the main area with friends we were exposed to family arguments that were very loud and verbal abuse and elevated voices. Staff advised after some time they called the police, at no time were we offered reassurance or the option to be escorted back to our rooms as a place of safety. Staff appeared to make no effort to defuse the sulituation, I am not sure if this is due to company policy, however we are still customers and they have a duty of care to their customers for their safety.

The Best Staff were very pleasant, always ready with a smile. Breakfast had a wide choice, including a good selection of gluten free. Room was clean and had everything you would expect. Swimming pool was open and was a nice place to exercise.

We checked into five rooms for one night, all were basic, nothing special. There were 11 of us altogether. My brother and aunt had become extremely unwell overnight and were both violently throwing up. The hotel staff were incredibly rude. They were watching us from the cameras allocated on each hallway and told us that given we're taking care of them, we weren't allowed to leave our rooms and leave the hotel. We had to leave the hotel to get medicine, hand sanitiser etc and take them to the hospital as their health became a lot worse, and when entering the hotel the following day, the staff at front desk said if we leave, don't come back. They offered no support. When asking them if they had any still water bottles, they said they have none in the entire hotel (there was a restaurant and a bar within this hotel so clearly lied to try and get rid of us). The worst service ever received. We won't be returning and will be complaining to management.

10/10 Best place we have stayed in for a while. The Amy Johnson suite, fantastic room, massive comfortable bed. In the bathroom we had a bath with shower and a separate shower. Television, hair dryer, coffee machine and kettle etc mini bar. Room was quite and relaxing. We didn't eat hear,so can't comment on that unfortunately. Parking fee . Pool was warm, jacuzzi, steam and sauna lovely, makes a nice change that the pool wasn't freezing, we really enjoyed it. We definitely will use again.
