Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was the third time we have been to the cottage. We love the remote position and the constant wildlife in the grounds. It's so quiet and a great escape from your usual surroundings. Sherringham is just a few minutes drive away for the usual shops and pubs etc. We loved the new layout of the bedrooms and bathroom, it works so much better. We'll equipped as well, we managed a full Xmas dinner with what is provided!! There are plenty of walks nearby and a great pub at West beckham which is walkable. We hope to stay again soon.

Gresham Hall , set in large grounds within rolling Norfolk countryside, minutes from the coast, is outstanding in every way. Spacious, luxurious, cozy ,wonderful decor , fully equipped kitchen with homely Aga as well as traditional oven. Fantastic bedrooms with suburb walloper , comfy beds and beautiful furniture .Ensuites with endless hot water too.Add to this a tastefully decorated Christmas Tree ready for us on arrival , open fires, attentive hosts ( nothing too much trouble ) & scrumptious welcome gifts for the best family Christmas ever .

Fantastic accommodation in a wonderful, rural location. We stayed in the upper wing which was an extremely comfortable, warm, modern apartment. It had beautiful views. Edward Clifton-Brown and his team were extremely welcoming and accommodating. There are lots of fun activities for families all around the surrounding area. I could not recommend it more highly.

We stayed at the main hall. Fantastic large accommodation with everything you may want. The location was very quiet (you could hear owls hooting in the evening), very well placed for visiting the local areas including getting a local train (£6 return) into Norwich to see the cathedral and seeing the seals at Horesey Bay. The accommodation is very spacious and well laid out with a very well equipped kitchen. Lots of seating in all rooms. We incurred an issue outside of the owner's control and was very impressed with how quick they dealt with the issue evening at the late hour. Would highly recommend as a luxury retreat.

We enjoyed a lovely week in the Ground Wing apartment of this impressive Hall and estate set .The apartment is very comfortable, clean and well equipped and provided a perfect base for exploring Norfolk ( our first time visiting the area). The apartment has a private outdoor space which is ideal for enjoying a coffee/drink/lunch and there is a barbecue (although we didn't get round to using it). It was also ideal for our dogs . The hot tub was a real treat for us after a day out exploring the local area. Gresham Hall is situated within easy reach of several beautiful beaches (Cromer, Sheringham and Holkham). Sheringham Park is also a good day out and hiring a boat for the day on the Broads is highly recommended ( we hired one from Wroxham). Thank you to Edward for a warm welcome and the welcome pack of goodies was a nice touch.

This was our second visit here. The apartment is well and beautifully furnished, very comfortable, clean and well presented upon arrival. The hot tub is a real bonus and was used every day at least once. The grounds and garden are a delight and the wildlife that visit are a joy to see. The welcome pack of local goodies is a nice touch. Just a perfect place to relax.

Gresham Hall is an outstanding property located perfectly for trips to the beautiful Norfolk coast. Our party of 8 enjoyed a long relaxing weekend at Gresham Hall - tucked away from the rest of the world in a peaceful rural setting. We opted for the hot tub, Sat by the real fires, walked around the grounds and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There is literally everthing you could want here, including complimentary champagne, milk, cakes etc on arrival. Our host Edward was excellent - even taking a call late evening when we couldn’t find the cutlery to enjoy the local fish and chips!! The only downside is having to leave this lovely house!! Would highly recommend Gresham Hall for family celebrations, reunions etc. Five stars from us 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
