Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

My partner and I have just spent 3 nights at Copperfields Guest House after visiting Norwich for a family funeral. What an absolutely delightful place to stay with lovely hosts Roger and Pam. The room was clean and very comfortable. There were lots of thoughtful extras in the room, like a list of local restaurant/pub recommendations, taxi number, bus times etc a fan, a good amount of hangers in the wardrobe, a fridge and a microwave. The garden is awash with a colourful array of flowers. At breakfast, there was a large variety of cereals. The full English was cooked to perfection by Pam and delivered promptly and with a smile by Roger. The next time we visit Norwich, we would definitely want to stay there again. Thank you for making us most welcome.

My wife and I just had a wonderful stay at Copperfields. Roger and Pam are the most gracious hosts and we received a very warm welcome. They really know how to provide a personal service while making you feel right at home. Situated to the north of the city with easy access to the centre, the guesthouse has a beautiful, peaceful garden where you can relax - or work, if you’re on business - and there are parks close by if you want to stretch your legs and there’s a nice pub just a couple of minutes walk away. And only 20 minutes drive away is the beautiful broads town of Wroxham where you can take a trip on the river. The room was freshly and tastefully decorated and equipped with a microwave and mini fridge with cutlery and plates for any food you might bring back with you. The system for ordering breakfast in advance was so easy and works so well that when you sit down to eat in their bright and cosy breakfast room, it’s already being prepared for you. Just enough time to pour your fresh coffee and butter your toast before you’re enjoying Pam’s famous fry-up, all put together using excellent quality products, cooked perfectly and served with a smile. There are many other options to choose from like cereals and porridge, and eggs done however you’d like them. Whatever you have, you will be satisfied. We were looking to take in the sights of Norwich and found Roger and Pam’s local knowledge was just as good as any tourist information centre, especially as they have their own huge compilation of pamphlets, books, maps, tours, local transport timetables, you name it. Norwich is such a nice city to visit and staying at Copperfields Guesthouse with the lovey Pam and Roger will make it even more special for you without a doubt. I highly recommend this charming and welcoming guesthouse.

Arrived at 6pm on the Friday to the warmest welcome from Roger. He gave us the choice of two beautiful rooms and we chose the Sewell Room which gave us direct access to the beautiful gardens from our bedroom. The room was gorgeous... complete with a little microwave if you wanted to bring food back to reheat. The room had its own little bathroom with a shower. The room was bright and airy furnished with French style furniture. We were given order firms for breakfast which was so much easier... there was actually nothing on the form you couldn't have! Breakfast was served in their beautiful conservatory by the very diligent Roger and cooked by the very patient Pam. Ingredients were top rate and there was no end to the teas, juices and toast. Copperfields was so easy to find and close to some really nice pubs and restaurants. Roger's local knowledge was second to none. I would without doubt recommend this little jewel to anyone looking to book an intimate little stay ... with only a few rooms you do feel very spoilt with the most fabulous hosts in Roger and Pam .... and not forgetting the beautiful little Pumpkin. Will we return?? Without a shadow of doubt.

Just had 4 very pleasant and comfortable nights at the modestly priced Copperfields Guest House on the outskirts of Norwich. Handy for the Broads and the coast, this top notch b & b is hosted by Pam and Roger, who are both friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Our beautifully appointed room overlooked the very pretty garden and breakfast was excellent. Would heartily recommend.

We had the pleasure of staying here from 12th to 15th August 2022. The property was well located, with a bus stop into town just outside. Plenty of parking and a beautifully kept front entrance garden welcomes guests. Within walking distance was a lovely friendly pub, an Indian restaurant (Rishi which Pam and Roger recommended and we had a lovely meal there) and Chinese takeaway. The room was faultless. As it was a hot day the blinds and curtains had been drawn and the fan was thoughtfully switched on. The bed linen was superb, the level of cleanliness was of the highest standard. There was a kettle, fridge and microwave, tea, coffee, milk and a selection of biscuits provided. Cutlery and dishes provided in case we felt like ordering a takeaway. TV had Netflix and catch up. The breakfast was delicious with an array of all you could possibly want, beautifully cooked and presented in a fabulous conservatory. The rear garden, which thankfully was available for our use, was so well cared for and pretty. As someone else has commented, these are two of the sweetest people you could wish to meet, plus their gorgeous puppy, Pumpkin, was a darling. However she did not bark once and if we hadn't been told, we would never have known she was there. We had the best of times and highly recommend Copperfields to anyone visiting this part of the country. A quiet and peaceful location, it was indeed a "home from home". Thank you Pam and Roger for looking after us so well and we look forward to planting our Sweet pea seeds and Philadelphus that you kindly gave us as a parting gift.

Most pleasant stay. Lovely furnished rooms with all you need, comfy bed. Immaculately clean furnishings. Freshly cooked breakfast of your choice served in the conservatory. Lovèly grounds and garden. Even cutlery in your room if you fancy a take away. Out of town but only a 7 minute bus ride into city or a £7.50 taxi fare. Book a ride early if weekend as extremely busy. Welcoming hosts. Highly recommend for couples, solo.

Husband and I decided to extend our trip around north Norfolk and booked 3 nights at Copperfields. Wow did we fall on our feet. What a super place run by the lovely Pam and Roger. There was ample parking and our room was located at the rear of the property. Spotlessly clean and very quiet. Roger gave us loads of information and there is a lovely 'library' in the breakfast room with lots of books, booklets and pamphlets. Breakfast was simply amazing. This is a real home from home and we loved it.
