Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

How are the rooms so uncomfortably hot in April with the outside temperature at 6 degrees ? Poor nights sleep even when we removed the duvet. The room must be 25 degrees at least. Staff were difficult to find but good when you found one. Car parking was £14 for 24 hours in the multi story over the bridge.

Amazing customer service from Tracey, she went the extra mile to make sure we had a great stay. We’ll definitely be back! Tracey was so helpful and made sure our three rooms were close together, and was a friendly face on reception last night and again this morning.

Good visit as always. Staff member Maria was very attentive as always. She seems to.be completely holding everything together, running around doing everything. Everytime I come here, she is on it with everything. It's really nice to be greated with by staff that you are familiar with each time.

Another great stay at Duke Street. I realised I had made a mistake with my future booking for August. MARIA at reception was amazing and kindly sorted everything out for me and rearranged the whole booking for multiple rooms. I am so grateful- thank you MARIA - a true professional!!!

My stay was a nightmare were the bedbugs that I found crawling over me and in the bed in the early hours. I was covered in bites, some which still haven’t disappeared even after 3 weeks and are itchy. I had a poor sleep and stressful night, which impacted my health. I would’ve thought that having a premier plus room would mean that the standards are higher but it was appalling, the bed felt old and worn and unclean. I felt disgusted by the whole experience.

We visit Norwich two or three times a year and always end up back at Duke Street premier inn. It's a really good value option for us as a family and the location is perfect for walking into town. The thing that has us coming back time and time again are the staff. They always go above and beyond at this branch. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are always so helpful. My daughter loved the Easter egg hunt this weekend. If you are looking for a great value break, this is the place.

The manger and Kyra were fab! :-) Lovely welcome and amazing customer service! Room was very clean but the bed was a little worn and not the best! The hotel had an Easter egg hunt for kids which was a nice touch! The restaurant was clean too. We would return (pending a decent mattress).

Our receptionist/ bartender / waitress, Bethany, was the most amazing professional and flabbergasting employee that I truly believe the company has ever hired. She was fun and enthusiastic and made a overall very enjoyable and memorable experience. Anyone who goes to meet her would not be disappointed and she truly brought joy and skill to every interaction we had. For the company to hire her was by far the best move and I hope they shower her with the money and praise that she deserves. Bethany is love, Bethany is life, To avoid bethany would be a disgrace. Amen. The end. Thank you

When you want a reliable warm, comfortable value for money stay anywhere then Premier Inn it is. Not been in one for a few years but impressed with this one. Needed a couple of rooms for a flying visit to Norwich so I'm not looking for a luxurious stay. Just in and out. Warm welcome. Didn't expect lady at reception to ring a couple of restaurants for us to see if they were still open and serving food as we were checking in. That's excellent service. Good selection of drinks at the bar. Complimentary water in the room. Room clean. Wi Fi excellent. Great night's sleep and then what makes a Premier Inn for me is their breakfasts. Full English for me and continental for notoriously fussy daughter who ate it. Rapid checkout and the plus point of a secure well priced car park close by.
