Our wedding yesterday was absolutely amazing. The staff were so helpful and could not have done enough to help us. Despite having a few major staff changes in the lead up to our wedding, which could have made our day awful and stressful, it really wasn't. Gordon the manager promised me personally that it would be perfect and it really...

What a shame, we expected to have a great evening , however, it took ages to get our meals, when the first course arrived, (i ordered salmon), i got 2 tiny pieces (about the size of a 10 pence piece!) then we had to wait approx one hour for the 2nd course, again the food was tiny. Same with dessert...

Don't waste your money, rooms were dusty, given keys for occupied rooms twice!! Paid for superior room, got chicken coop!! Showers are temperamental, if they work! Staff were less than helpful, and don't dare ask for a bread roll unless you've had soup as a starter!! My whole visit I was expecting basil faulty and his crew to come busting...

Firstly the front of hotel is filthy, can't even get in the front door. Staff are completely incompetent. Untrained as can't even bring spoons for coffee or sweets. Didn't get things that were supposed to be with the meal. It was cold. Take ages to bring anything you order even drink and we were the only ones there give it...

John Cleese with all his mad, swirling genius in its pomp could not have dreamt up Caistor Hall. Or if he had, it would have been rejected by the head of BBC light entertainment as simply too implausible. I won’t detail the entire list of faults because there are still plenty of things I want to do in life, so...

We had our wedding day on 5th November, which we had been planning since last July so it needed to be special, it's such a shame it did not deliver in some parts. The morning was fantastic, couldn't fault it, from having the ceremony having photos taken outside and the whole hotel with our decorations looked spectacular with the help...

Booked a Superior Room for a nice romantic night following a night out in Norwich. How disappointing! Unfortunately the latest poor reviews went on after I’d booked the room as an advanced purchase. Always think there should be praise when it’s due so to begin with so a couple of compliments: 1) hotel looks fantastic from the outside when you...
