This is our fourth time of staying here. We came once again for the Norwich Beer Festival. Wensum Guest House is on a busy main road, leading into the city centre. There is a good bus service but it is only a 10/15 minute walk into the centre. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean, as is everywhere else. The breakfast... More

The guest house is OK but for the price, I would have expected a bit more. We paid £75 and it was overpriced - especially for a shared bathroom. Also only opening reception @ 16:00 on the dot, and then checkout @ 10:30 - you're paying quite a lot for a shorter number of hours than you would get at... More

A wonderfully professional and efficient greeting and a very happy breakfast experience. Clean and thoughtful rooms. £6 in a taxi into city. Parking is great and choice of breakfast is very good. Need to. Check in before 8pm. En suite appreciated.

This is a great location for exploring North Norfolk, very comfortable room, clean and roomy with an ensuite and shower over the bath. The breakfast was fabulous with variations every day very enjoyable especially the warm pastries served at the end!! My only criticism is that the stairs were very steep and windy and would be quite challenging for anyone... More

Great guest house. We stayed for 2 nights in a double room with ensuite in the loft. It was a little hot due to weather but a fan is provided in the room. The room was lovely and quirky. Plenty of tea, coffee,(including decaf), milk, hot chocolate and biscuits. Toiletries in the bathroom and plenty of hot water. The staff are... More

Stayed here for two nights when visiting the Truckfest with family. Checked in late at 9pm as journey took four hours longer than expected, but this was not an issue. We stayed in Room 8, Lovely large family room on the ground floor (double, single and plenty of room for travel cot) Room was clean and beds comfortable. Weather was... More

On arrival we were a little disappointed with the look of the Hotel and the road it was on. But when we went inside we found our room to be spotless and had all the facilities needed for an overnight stay. The shower was powerful and hot. Bed linen was lovely and clean but the bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast was... More

We visited Norwich this time to attend our daughters graduation fron UEA. As before the accommodation was spotlessly clean, the breakfast top notch, and the shower powerful. Our stay coincided with a heat wave so we were grateful for the fan we found in the wardrobe. The staff are really friendly. There is ample parking.
