Dear ZoeDavison, Thank you for taking the time to review. It is extremely rare that we have any negative comments regarding our spa treatments. Our afternoon tea is usually highly praised for its content and we also offer cake boxes to guests wishing to take away any items, I am sorry to hear this wasn't your experience for your own visit. I have passed your comments onto the teams in the spa and our restaurant to see how we can improve from this feedback and to assist our staff in providing the highest standards of customer service. I am always happy to discuss your visit further should you wish. Kind regards, Scott McBride, St Giles House Hotel Management.

A lovely afternoon tea at St Giles House Hotel celebrating an engagement with some bubbly! Great service, and good food. Maybe the food presentation could be improved a little seeing as it’s not cheap for sandwiches and cakes but other than that we had a lovely time!

Any room at the rear overlooking the car park is fine and very quiet.

The gated secure car park is behind the hotel, accessed via Pottergate. It is free and owned by the hotel and normally has more than sufficient spaces for each of the 24 rooms. First come first served - no reservations possible. However, it can get full if there is a function or spa party. Pay and display has to be used in Pottergate or St Giles St until a space comes free behind the hotel. Best fone the hotel before booking to check if a function is on if parking is important.

There are temperature controlled fan assisted air vents in the bedroom entrance lobbies. Not sure what the lowest temperatures are.
