Just back from a week staying in Kestrel and Heron Cottages - ideal for social distancing as one household from our family stayed in one and one in the other. It was reassuring that very comprehensive cleaning is carried out between stays and we also appreciated that we could have cancelled if the virus situation had made the holiday impossible.
Beautiful quiet area with views over the meadows / fields to the river and a private footpath for a short walk directly to Ludham Bridge and more paths in the opposite direction. The sitting area / kitchen in each cottage is small but very well equipped and lots of outside space with picnic table and extra chairs. Highlight of the week was having a local folk band rehearse in the adjacent barn and enjoying the music. Overall it was a lovely stay -- Thank You.

Hannah, is a great host, lives near cottage, and has a great presence, very helpful, always happy and wanting to help if its needed, couldn't recommend her or her team more; made us feel very welcome and safe, during these times.

Location - Very central to all local attractions, great walks nearby and local pubs, managed to walk from cottage to Wrexham Broads, to see boats and pub lunch.

Cottage is very very clean, all amenities are as advertised and very up all comfortable, great TV for the evenings took our Firestick with us, and used with the TV, great. Especially, after using the hot tub, just outside in our own private lovely picket fenced garden, very relaxing.

The cottage is over two floors, and has a disabled access shower and toilet downstairs, beds super comfortable, very important, there is so much space and the design is well laid out and a lot of thought has gone into the layout and finishes, superb.

We had our Cockapoo dog with us, and she was made to feel really welcome, garden super save and every thought made for pets.

They even have a washing machine area next to their office near the cottage, very handy.

We would defo recommend and go back.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Hall Farm Cottages, staying in Meadowview, which was lovely and bright with its own little garden. Hannah was so welcoming, kind and helpful, she really does go the extra mile to ensure that guests enjoy their stay with thoughtful recommendations and even loan of her own belongings. All the other staff we also very friendly and helpful. The cottages are clean and the kitchen was well-equipped. We enjoyed local walks and bike rides, beaches and fishing in the lake. The cottages are well-located: How Hill and St Benet's Abbey are well worth a visit. We loved Winterton beach and Sea Palling and even managed to spot some seals swimming past. We would not hesitate to recommend Hall Cottages and feel lucky to have been able to find this little gem.

We booked out all of Hall Farm Cottages for a 30th weekend celebration and it did not disappoint. The owner Hannah was incredibly generous helping to coordinate with caterers and general enquiries, and the function room was perfect for everyone to gather and socialise in the evenings. A weekend that will not be forgotten! Thanks for making it so special.

We have just returned from the most wonderful glamping stay at Hall Farm Cottages. Myself and my two daughters (11 and 13) were staying in the Barn Owl Tent, which provided everything we could have ever needed and lots of things I never even knew we needed!!

Arrival was easy and we could park close by. The bell tent was beautifully presented and my girls and I were blown away by all the details inside. Bubbles, heart shaped hot water bottles, fairy lights and crisps!! The lovely owner Hannah also popped by to welcome us and make sure we had everything we needed (which we did!!)

All we needed was some camping chairs and a stove if we wanted to cook hot food...which we didn't as there was a lovely pub just a few minutes drive away. There was glasses for wine and mugs for hot chocolate and cutlery and plates and tbags and coffee and basically everything you could need. There was also a fridge which was very welcome as it was a heat wave. Because of the heat fires were not allowed due to the risk of a fire spreading, so Hannah filled our fridge with marshmallows and whipped cream so we could make some hot chocolates. A brilliant touch which my children loved.

Each bell tent has a toilet and hot shower very close by and a water tap. There is also a private lake which we loved walking around. The area around us was beautiful and so peaceful, there were also some games to use so the girls could stay entertained (and off mobile phones).

We made a trip to BeWILDerwood while we were there which I would also recommend for all aged children. It was only a short drive away and kept us busy the whole day.

Our stay was easy, fun and different to anything I have done before. Breakfast was delivered in the morning to finish off a perfect stay.

Hall Farm Cottages glamping is a great place for a small family or a big group as there are 4 tents all together. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you for having us, will be back.

Myself and husband went to stay for a week at Hall Farm Cottages. We stayed in Ramblers cottage. I use an electric wheelchair and my husband uses a rollator. The cottage was excellent for us it had patio doors at the front and the parking space was right outside it.
Also Hannah can arrange for disabled equipment for example toilet surround and toilet raiser seat, recliner chairs, profile beds etc.

Ramblers cottage has a hot tub which was fantastic just after dark to relax in with the bubbles and lights on. The cottage it's self had a large open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen, it has a large bedroom which can be two singles or a large zip and link king size and a wet room downstairs, this bedroom also has door that opens onto the courtyard. There was also another door from the lounge area out of here straight into the courtyard with another seating area for just that cottage and all the other cottages all had their own area each having a barbecue and garden furniture, in the middle of the courtyard was a fish pond and at the end of the courtyard a games room. There is also an upstairs in the cottage so if you want to go with family there are two further bedrooms which can be two singles or a large zip and link king size and a bathroom.

On arrival we were greeted by Hannah who showed us to our cottage, Hannah is a lovely lady so kind and very helpful nothing was too much bother for her, she helped arrange taxies, bookings for meals out etc both before we came and during our stay. The whole holiday was so peaceful and what we liked was waking up to the only sound of the birds in the morning.

Hannah had left some lovely touches for us in the cottage on arrival of homemade shortbread, crisps, filter coffee, dishwasher tablets, salt pepper, fresh milk in the fridge as well as sugar, tea bags etc.

We loved the break so much we have booked to go back twice again. The area even thought you are in the middle of two villages is lovely but to see the local area a car is a must.
Can't wait to go back thank you for a wonderful stay Hannah and see you again. Ann and Dave

We stayed in Ramblers Cottage from 18th till 25 th June 2021 and really enjoyed our stay. Our host Hannah and her family were amazing and couldn't do enough to make our stay safe and relaxing.
As a disabled wheelchair user our cottage had a downstairs bedroom with wet room with wheel in shower and it was ideal for me.There was plenty of room in lounge and kitchen for me to move around in my wheelchair and my carer and family loved the 2 upstairs rooms and bathroom.
Hannah had extensive knowledge of accessibility at many attractions and local eating places etc which we found invaluable .
We will definitely be returning to this peaceful and restful setting as I have returned home very refreshed and the countryside views and bird sound was amazing.
We had a stunning take away Sunday carvery from the Kings Arms at Ludham which Hannah organised for us ,the food was hot and very tasty.
Overall highly recommend for a lovely quite ,stress less ,clean ,safe break where the host family make you feel very welcome.

This was our second stay at the cottages. They are very nice and well equipped and the accommodation is in an excellent location for visiting the Norfolk Broads and the surrounding area. The cottage met our family’s needs very well and we were able to hire the additional specialists equipment we required form a local supplier for a small nominal charge.

The accommodation could easily fit three couples but we were three individuals. We had two bathrooms and plenty of room . Even a dish washer so no washing up . There was a laundry room on site for the glampers but needless to say we did not need this . We had the added bonus of a hot tub . Lovely place to stay .

Had a great week staying at the Hall Farm Cottages in August 2019. We booked because of the services on offer.
Greeted by Hannah who showed us to our accommodation that was spotlessly clean.
My mum the wheelchair user 's room was on the ground floor and had it own wet room.
Kitchen had all the bits needed to make an easy stay.
Hannah couldn't be more helpful giving us ideas of where to visit that would accommodate a wheelchair and a dog.
Mum's wheelchair broke half way through the holiday Hannah let us borrow one she had no charge which really got us out of a hole.
We also borrowed from Hall Farm Cottages a wheelchair that can be used on the sand so was able to take my mum on the beach, great day had by all including the dog.
