Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Another great holiday at Hall Farm Cottages. The cottage is clean and comfortable with every need catered for. So homely. A selection of coffee, tea, milk ready on arrival. So thoughtful. So much to see and do in the surrounding area although dog walks around the lake on site is our dog's favourite. Hannah, Alison and Amy so helpful and always on hand, as are all the staff. Nothing too much trouble. It is and will always be my happy place....especially the hot tub to relax i n with a glass of bubbly!😘

This is the second family reunion weekend we've had at Hall Farm. Each family had plenty of space in their cottage and the games room was the perfect place for everyone to come together. The view from our cottage (Bridgeview) was fabulous. All the accommodation was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed. We'll be back!

Lovely to go back to our favourite cottage, Heron. We hired a hot tub for the week which was amazing. Our boxer dog Betsy really enjoys her time , walking around the pond and going across the field to the river and over to the local shops. Would highly recommend, great views, very peaceful. Lots of wildlife

Having been to Hall Farm Cottages on many occasions, albeit some years ago, I was not disappointed after my recent visit. The cottages are always clean and tidy. The beds are lovely and comfortable too. The cottages are in lovely surroundings and nice and quiet. Hannah is always very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be returning again.

Having stayed at Hall Farm Cottages about 15 years ago, we decided to celebrate my 60th here with a group of friends. We rented three cottages, all with fantastic views out across the marshes to the river, and every one agreed we would have had a great holiday if we'd just sat in the gardens all week. We didn't of course, we went out and about and on Saturday we had a birthday party on the site for many more friends. Hannah, the family, and her friends couldn't have been more helpful with the arrangements. When you are lucky enough to own properties in such a delightful location, it would be easy to sit back and let that be your USP but not Hannah. She did everything possible to make our stay a great one, and it was!

This was our third stay at Hall Farm Cottages with a wheelchair user in our group. Not only was Hannah as helpful, friendly and obliging as ever, the facilities are just second to none - a downstairs bedroom with accessible en-suite, easy and close parking with a cart to get luggage to your cottage, a host of equipment to borrow and a beautiful setting. And very importantly, ensuring we have enough ice for our Friday night cocktails! Thank you, as always, Hannah! Erica and family X

Loath to rave too much in case we can never find vacancies in the future, but I cannot lie: fabulous stay in a well planned and equipped cottage for people with reduced mobility. My Mum loved the comfy bed and rise-recline chair we requested. Great games room and beautiful fishing lake for a wander round. Lovely views across the meadow to the river and super birdwatching and song to listen to. Hannah helpful and responsive to requests but gave us space to relax and wander.

Really relaxing place to stay surrounded by open fields and views off the river. Hannah and all the team can’t do enough for you day or night and the lake holds some very big fish in it. All round brilliant holiday

We have just had another wonderful few days in Ramblers cottage! We have tried a few different cottages here now and they are all of incredibly high standard! Hannah goes above and beyond to help with anything you need. The cottages are so well equipped, so clean and we even had a little snack and milk in the fridge. Perfect for my disabled son, and again Hannah was so lovely in supplying a comfy chair and shower chair on wheels for him. Laundry room is a perfect added extra! Cannot recommend enough! Thankyou Hannah, we will definitely be back ❤️❤️

Absolutely wonderful holiday. Ramblers Cottage is lovely and cosy. Lovely greeting from Hannah on arrival and chat with Alison in the week. Such a relaxing place to come back to after exploring for the day. Our dog Paris loved it especially running around the lake. For me it was chilling out in the hot tub with a glass of bubbly....naturally. Already thinking about when we can come back having just got home. Thank you Hannah. Keep up the great work.
