Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent hosts providing a 5* service, quality of rooms matched with quality of breakfast served, nothing was too much for the hosts. Fixtures and fittings better than a number of big named hotels, highly recommended

Chestnut Grove is a hidden gem tucked away in the City of stories. We stayed for one night. Elliott and his Mum were really friendly, and discreet hosts. The whole place was spotlessly clean, and tastefully decorated with an abundance of curiosities to look at. We had three rooms in total, each one had the comfort of home. The added touches were perfect: the kettle filled with water, a variety of teas, biscuits in a jar, and a bottle of fresh water. Breakfast was a delight. We ordered what we wanted to eat the evening before, and was ready when we got up. We would definitely recommend to others, and would stay there again. Thank you Elliott and your Mum

We (my two sisters, my nephew and myself) checked in on the Second stop of our roadtrip UK. Mr. Elliot Jackson was not home when we first arrived, but he had left Keys and instructions for us. Later in the evening after we had been out to eat, he was home and greeted us very cordially. We had a short chat with him, and then we was off to bed. We had two rooms on the top floor of this beautiful house. The room that I share with my oldest sister was only with a shared bathroom, but it was clean and cozy. There was a bottle of fresh and cold water avaliable for us to drink along with the usual tea and coffee. But the real treat about this place was the “breakfast” part! A wonderful dining room with tablecloth and napkins kept in Dark red colors and the table set for 6 persons and with the door open towards a conservatory about the size of my own flat back home! But there was much more to come! The soft-spoken host revealed that he had training as a chef and presented the deliciously tasting food In the most appealing way. This place gets my full recommendation. A top place to stay whether it’s just for one night or used as a base for experiencing the sights of Norwich and Norfolk

Loved staying here as it was so welcoming comfortable and homely. Both Elliot and Maureen couldn’t have been better hosts. Breakfast was delicious , bed very comfortable and very clean. Rooms even refreshed daily. I would definitely stay again.

I stayed at this Guest House in Norwich for just 1 night and what a find it was. The Guest House is superb, the room was excellent with everything I needed along with tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast choice was excellent and the quality of the food was really good too. What makes this place is the Owners. I had the pleasure of talking to both Maureen and her son Eliot. They were so friendly, polite and welcoming. I was visiting Norwich to watch football at Carrow Road. I walked into the City Centre from the guesthouse which took me about 25 minutes. It was a Sunday and I caught a service at the Cathedral. What a magnificent building. Afterwards, I walked to the ground, watched the match and then walked back to the guesthouse along Newmarket Road. If you're ever visiting Norwich, give yourself a treat at stay at this guesthouse. I'm sure you'll enjoy it just like I did. Thank you Maureen and Eliot.

Elliott provides an outstanding experience at this quiet B&B. The room we had was spacious and well appointed - great bed, excellent bathroom and shower. Scrupulously clean. The convivial breakfast around the dining room table was expertly prepared - I recommend the smoked salmon scrambled eggs on English muffin!

Excellent rooms, most comfy bed and pillows ever. Lovely people who run the guest house. Food was excellent and well laid out. Owners couldn’t be more helpful. Will definitely return. I brought my mom here to see the Michael ball and Alfie boe concert and the location was perfect.
