A most relaxing, comfortable stay. Staff, atmosphere, location, ambiance; all warm and welcoming. We stayed in room 10, very comfortable and good views. Walking distance to Settle town centre. Can't wait to return.

This hotel was recommended by a friend who passed by one day. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. We had room 1 which was lovely, lovely views. We would recommend the side rooms or the ones at the back of hotel for the views. Lovely food, lovely service. The Settle to Carlisle train station is only a... More

Just returned home from our second visit to the Falco Manor and wished we were staying an extra night. The feeling as you walk in is relaxed and friendly and the staff equal this. The decor is amazing and the rooms are comfortable and clean yet in keeping with the character of the building. Nothing was too much trouble for... More

We stayed in the Rafters Suite which is also used as the honeymoon suite. The room was beautiful. There was a wide range of seating - chairs/huge settee, good lighting, huge bed. The bathroom was modern with two washbasins, large bath, large shower and toilet. The food was exquisite and the staff friendly and helpful. There's the restaurant, the bar... More

This Hotel was recommended by a friend who told us it looked nice from the outside as they were just passing. Looking for something a bit different to stay for a couple of nights we booked in. What a delight. We entered into a hallway with a log fire burning and a Christmas tree glittering in the corner. We were... More

Dined here during a weekend trip to the dales. Service was friendly and unhurried, food was very decent British fayre and the place itself was steeped in manor type rustic charm. Perfect for a winter evening as the crackling fire in the entrance hall warms you on your way in. Best to call as they may have wedding functions on

We were treated to a two night break at the Falcon Manor by family for a birthday celebration. It's a fabulous hotel converted from an old country house. The room we stayed in (Room 1) was very comfortable with an enormous super-king size bed and free standing bathtub in the room. The separate shower room/WC was simple and functional and... More

My son and his partner treated me to Afternoon Tea at this Hotel. We were welcomed warmly and served in a friendly manner. The staff kindly took photos of our party so we were all in the pictures. The decor was interesting, the gardens were well maintained.

Recently stopped at the Falcon Manor on one of the stop over deals with a meal and a bottle of fizz in the room. on first impressions the hotel is extremely well appointed with the decor in the same vein as other places in the James' places group. the decor and fittings look superb in this setting. The service however... More

We have been here several times for lunch and dinner and had a very good experience The very pleasant and extrovert waitress was very good and did all she could to make amends However, on a Saturday night she was let down badly by the kitchen who were clearly unable to cope and the wait between courses was unacceptable even...
