Wonderful stay at The King Bill, the warmest of welcomes from Chris and Jackie. Fantastic location, right in the centre with a great pub for a neighbour! Lots of helpful recommendations from Chris and Jackie for anything you need, afternoon tea, restaurants, hiking routes! We brought our dog Skye with us and loved the dog-friendly touches, her own bed, eating place with bowls and even her own doggy towel! Breakfast is a feast, lots of local produce and the BEST scrambled eggs I’ve ever tasted. Nothing is ever too much trouble, even a 530am cooked breakfast to set you up for the 3 Peak challenge.

Thank you so much for this amazing review, we are really happy you all enjoyed your stay and we were able to make your visit a comfortable and helpful one. Glad Skye liked the added doggie touches to her stay so she was able to dream about the great walks! We might even have to reveal another You Tube video on the secret of scrambled egg cookery!

This is a central but quietly positioned guest house. Everything is provided by the caring and friendly couple that run it. Large light room. Patio sitting area to the rear. Parking front and rear. Lovely breakfast. Help with walks and the many places to eat. It’s a good place run by good honest people. Stay here You won’t be sorry

We stayed several nights and enjoyed our stay very much. The owners are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were excellent with freshly prepared fruit salad, cereals, delicious jams and a variety of cooked options . Our room was spacious with a modern walk in shower and a jacuzzi bath which was very welcome after a long hike.

Very nice ground floor room, good quality furniture and bathroom fittings, shower fabulous. Helpful owners who locked my bicycle away securely, good breakfast, and care taken by owners regarding covid. Central Settle but still quiet in the evening.
