The Leeway is a quality boutique B&B. We are a 4 star Gold Accommodation and have an Award for our excellent breakfasts, where we serve the full grill and any variation of it, along with different daily specials, and all home made preserves and yogurt. We have a Gold Award for our Green Tourism too, helping to look after the beautiful town of Whitby with our sustainability, but yet offering everything required for a quality stay. We offer home made cake and a cuppa on arrival, to get your holiday off to a great start. All our rooms are individually styled, and have memory foam mattresses, bamboo towels, bathrobes and large modern en-suites. There is a Tassimo drinks maker in every room with a large selection of drinks. There is free WiFi and all rooms have ipod docs. We have rattan furniture in our garden where you can sit and relax, maybe enjoy a glass of wine or a coffee there.

We had a great stay at The Leeway. It is very handy for the town, whilst being in a quiet street. The owners are lovely and welcoming and the house is extremely comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and the bedrooms are very well-appointed.

What a superb place. Arrived on a very windy and rainy day but the welcome made our journey up worth it, we were offered cake but declined as we were off to the races, but what a nice gesture. The room was spotless bed was so comfy the breakfast freshly made and filling. It's in good walking distance into the town. We stayed a few years ago and definitely won't leave it so long next time, we forgot just how nice Whitby was . Thankyou for a lovely stay xx

The room was very clean and comfortable and the owners were very welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic, particularly the smoked haddock and poached eggs. The location is excellent - just a short walk into the town and to all the llocal tourist attractions. I highly recommend a stay at the Leeway if you're visiting Whitby.

The room was excellent, every thing needed and more.Our hosts could not do enough to make our stay special as we were ther celebrating my birthday. The breakfast was the best we have ever Eaton and the choice was fantastic. We will definitely visit again.

Having stayed at the Leeway for our long weekend at 60s festival at the pavilion which is only a ten minute walk . The room we had was spacious with superb shower .[a must for us ] the bed was very comfortable the breakfast choice each morning was excellent with a wide choice to choose from with a parking permit included the Leeway is an excellent choice to stay when visiting Whitby.

A repeat visit to the Leeway for us. Immaculately clean, comfortable rooms with extra touches (homemade cake on arrival, toiletries, cotton bath robes, tea/coffee/hot chocolate, biscuits), excellent location and a delicious breakfast. Helpful and friendly service from Garry and Karen. What more could you want in a B&B.
