Large bedrooms well appointed, good breakfast and welcoming hosts, couple of things, hand soap in the bathroom, parking can next street away , but most BnBs in the area have the same issue. ( one star rating from the food standards agency rating a little worrying)

We stayed at Hudson’s B&B for three nights from 31/10/2016 to 03/11/2016 inclusive. Hudson’s B&B is well located within circa five minutes walk from Whitby’s town centre. We were warmly greeted upon arrival. Our room, and indeed the whole of the complex, was well heated, with good contemporary décor and modern fitments. The breakfast food quality was excellent and the... More

Just had a 4 night stay. Room and facilities all spotless. Whole place appears to have been decorated in last year or two. Comfortable room and well appointed for a B&B. Decent choice for breakfast. Good, helpful service throughout visit. If there were any suggestions to improve: liquid soap in bathroom, larger towels and information on local attractions in the... More

I stayed here when I was working in the area. The room was comfortable. The owners were really friendly and the breakfast was very good. The only slight issue was when using the bathroom, there was a light which had an automatic cut off so it went pitch black every couple of minutes and you had to wave your hands... More

Stayed here for our honeymoon. The welcome was warm and welcoming. The service was excellent. The room was amazing and the whole establishment was wonderfully clean and spotless. Me and my wife both slept brilliantly in a wonderful comphy bed. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and was really tasty. The Hudson is located in an ideal spot just a... More

We had a lovely weekend at Whitby staying at Hudsons. The occasion was my wife's retirement from running a B&B in Northumberland and Hudsons did us proud. Lovely room, a hearty breakfast and they even laid on sunshine all weekend. The only possible problem area was parking but if you go to Whitby you have got to expect that. Host... More

We had a lovely time in whitby but were a bit disappointed with the B and B. We had a room in the attic which was adequate and comfortable but not really what we expected given the write up on the website. To be fair Mark did tell us that they were the only rooms available when we booked and... More

Myself and my partner recently stayed for 2 nights in Whitby. Hudsons was a lovely, clean and well placed B&B. We we allocated the attic room, which was light and airy, although beware if you are above 5' due to the low exposed roof beam within the room. The owners were friendly and helpful, and cooked a delicious bacon butty!... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights in a 'compact' bedroom. Very comfortable bed/mattress but certainly no cat swinging. Small wardrobe and not really enough space for access to the overnight bags. Lovely shower...no bath...breakfast was acceptable with unimaginative offer. Accessible location. Nothing memorable or any enticement to return
