We love Whitby and we love this B&B. The fact that it's a family business that really cares makes it feel more homely and special. So many places to visit so you can leave the car and explore. Breakfast is also wonderful and modern bathrooms and bedrooms with a seaside touch!

This place is just lovely and has a homely, cosy feel to it as soon as you walk in. We arrived before check-in but our parking permit had been left for us to collect at the door. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to the centre of town but also lovely and quiet - apart from at breakfast, we wouldn't have known there were other people staying. Phill and Sophie do a fantastic job, very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is amazing, especially the blueberry pancakes! I would highly recommend this property, we can't wait to go back!

Stayed here for 2 nights in the family room. The B & B as an excellent covid set up. Very clean. Phil & Sophie are very friendly. Sophie’s breakfast are the best way to start your day. Parking was just outside & we were provided with a permit for our stay. Definitely would stay here again if in Whitby

Delighted to get back to Whitby for a relaxed seaside weekend. We stayed in another beautiful nautical themed room and had a wonderful breakfast the following morning. The hosts here really are fantastic and the location is so perfect to explore.

We stayed two nights at The Belfry and so glad we did. The accommodation is excellent and we felt very safe due to their strict Covid-19 precautions. Room 10 was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. The hospitality tray was well stocked and fresh milk was available from a communal fridge which also had room for residents to chill their wine/beer. Breakfast was delicious; with a great choice and daily specials. Tina and her two staff were very attentive and helpful hosts, whilst covering for the owners who were on holiday. We would definitely recommend The Belfry and will re-visit in the future, Whitby is a lovely place to visit at any time of the year. Gill & Graeme
