This is the third visit we have made to this Bed and Breakfast and I am sure it will not be the last! We were made to feel extremely welcome from the moment we arrived with fresh coffee and homemade scones. The rooms are comfortable and exceptionally clean and the breakfast is always fantastic.

We have visted this B&B many times. Usually three times a year. We have always found Freda and Dave to be the most accommodating, helpful, sociable and knowledgeable hosts. The welcome is always extremely warm. The thoughtfulness and attention to detail is truly exceptional and this is evidenced in all the little extras provided, and in the catering. The B&B...

After reading several reviews of this B&B we decided to book for the weekend before Easter. I'm pleased to say we weren't disappointed. Upon our arrival we had a warm welcome and were shown to our room which had all the facitiles we could need. We were then treated with a cream tea which was lovely. Freda and Dave were...

This place is a dream! The owners Freda and Dave have essentially turned their house in the b&b, so staying there is very much like going to visit with your auntie and uncle, as they are so fantastically welcoming and friendly! Upon arrival they welcomed us with a cup of tea and delicious homemade scones, and they filled us in...

We went to Whitby as I was on a photography workshop. We had a couple of nights at the Rosewood and could not fault the cleanliness, friendliness and amazing breakfast's. I had to be out at 4.45am and Dave was there to let me out, which I thought was very good of him. Not many host's would have done that....

2nd visit here, and is it still as wonderful as it was 7-8 yrs ago. Nothing is too much trouble. Vast choice of breakfasts, tea, cream/jam scones on arrival, and a cake popped into the fridge every day for when we returned. Local advice of where to eat and sights to see. Parking permit for outside property. Very close to...

Freda and Dave are very welcoming and real characters. On our stay the couple in the other room lost their car keys and Freda and Dave turned the place upside down looking for them. It was hilarious as they turned out to be in the pocket of his jacket hung on the back of his door. Yes there are rules...

We stayed here recently with friends. We were all very warmly welcomed, and most of the reviews on here are spot on. Firstly, it is a B&B, not a 5* hotel, and it is Freda & Daves home, so courtesy with locking doors etc should be respected. We found them to be very genuine people, friendly & accommodating, nothing was...
