It's easy to see why this place has shocking reviews and in many ways they are justified! I'm some ways though you do kind of get what you pay for. We paid £70 for a double en suite at very late notice so kind of had to take what we could. Safe to say we didn't expect much but for...

The worst place we have ever stayed at. The room is approx. 6x8ft. and up 2 very narrow & steep staircases. The room was damp with an accompanying musty smell - no wonder - the manager advised that the place had recently been under 3ft of drainage flood water. This was the excuse for providing no breakfast since the kitchen...

booked for one night but on entering knew we had a mistake, everywhere smelt damp, then had to climb two very narrow and extremely steep flights of stairs to a small damp room, bed squashed up against the wall, why we paid heaven knows because as soon as owner left we got our bag and left, we just couldn't sleep...

Arrived at this guest house for my partners birthday ,had to wait along time to be let in,smelly dirty and refused to stay ,wouldn't put an animal in there ,doesn't deserve a title guesthouse ,the room hadn't even been cleaned .

Luckily my partner and i stayed here for only 1 night, everything about it was jaw droppingly shocking. We were kept waiting 15 minutes for him to open the door, the room hadn't been cleaned, the hallway was covered in tins of paint, the stairs were incredibly steep and the carpets were coming away and covered with holes, The room...

Firstly the location of this guesthouse is brilliant, unfortunatly that is all it has going for it. We stayed in room 3 paint peeling off the window frames, my husband accidently knocked a picture off the wall on arrival and someone had graffitide underneath the picture why had they not decorated to rectifiy this problem?? We had a great time...

Tiny quayside house with extremely steep staircases all with loose worn carpeting. Not really suitable as a guesthouse, unclean, smoke detector not working in room with house smelling strongly of cigarette smoke. Escaped before breakfast!

We stayed in room 5 it was small but clean and had lovely roof windows. Value for money for £60 and the owner was really friendly and left is to it with no fussing but was available when needed. It is literally minutes away from the old town. Great location

Firstly I just want to say that if this was a lot cheaper than other bnbs I wouldn't be bothered, but I have stayed in some fabulous places for the same and less money than the £70 a night here. It was like staying in someones house rather than a business. Took ages to actually get in the place as...
