Visited for one night , very clean, breakfast was good quality, quiet , staff were great , a 5 minute walk into the centre , cliff top b&b , loverly views , would come back again to this great little place
Stayed for 2 nights with a sea view.
It was excellent, staff helpful, room clean and furnished well. Free parking, breakfast superb. The room had one of the best sea views ever !

Thanks for the great review and the pictures look fantastic.
We love The Wheeldale, Our room was comfortable and clean, fantastic sea views, good TV. There is a good choice at breakfast and it is nicely-cooked. A homely lounge area with lots of books and mags, plus an honesty bar.

Hi, I wouldn't worry about this - we've been to The Wheeldale three times, and only seen the cat once for a few seconds in the hallway. It's not allowed in the breakfast room. I'm guessing there's only a problem if people start trying to grab hold of it, which I wouldn't have thought sensible people would do anyway. The cat keeps itself to itself, so don't worry.
This is a great place with great people - don't be put off!
