Stayed a long weekend at No.44 ‘Captains Cabin’ here at Captain Cooks Haven in Whitby. A delightful little 2 bedroom bolt hole adjacent to the outdoor play area and the indoor swimming pool. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Pleased to add our comments to the many

Perfect location for Whitby and coastal walking. Cottage great for families and groups of friends (we were on a boys walking trip). Very clean with everything provided - highly recommend if you are thinking of staying in the area

We stayed in Cottage 32, at the top of the site (entrance level). The cottage is upside down with sleeping on the lower level and living on the upper level with excellent views of the viaduct, river Esk and railway. The accomodation is spacious and well appointed with

It's a nice set up a bit odd that the living area is upstairs and bedrooms are down stairs though and its a bit of a trek away from centre it's good if your after walking the dog or willing to do driving. On the way the road is closed off and had to turn another way and ended up

Don’t know about that specific cottage. But when we booked it stated in the booking that towels and tea towels had to be brought with you. There is a coin operated laundry on site.

Do they provide towels?
No, we took our own towels.

We stayed next door so imagine it will be similar - some cottages did look slight different in their layout. As mentioned above they do not supply any towels or tea towels. We also had to take our own cleaning stuff i.e. Washing up liquid, dish cloth etc. There is a large Sainsburys 5/10 minutes drive away if you don't want to overload the car! Small indoor pool which you obviously need to take your own towels,
