Another fantastic weekend staying at The Langley. Amazing hospitality, breakfast to die for, which set us up for the day! Nothing too much trouble for Andi & Kerry! Attention to detail is impeccable and spotlessly clean! Conveniently located to explore Whitby and all its treasures!

Our very dear Amelia & Jim, another year over and another day closer to your return in 2024. It was great to meet up again and just see how the Midlands Fashion scene has changed with the introduction of those "Shorts". Amelia- my question is- "Is Whitby prepared for them?". Thank you both for coming to visit, stay very safe over the winter period and here's to a wonderful return visit in 2024. Love to you both xxx

Have just left Whitby after 2 nights at the Langley. The whole experience was…..fantastic. Lovely room overlooking the sea and nothing was too much trouble for Andi. Very welcoming and full of useful information for our stay. Breakfast cooked to order. We cannot thank the Langley enough for looking after us.

Just left The langley hotel after a fantastic, relaxing two night stay. We Had a lovely warm welcome from Andi , he made us feel right at home as soon as we stepped through the door. We stayed in room 2 which was very spacious, very clean and packed with everything we would need. The temperature of the room was perfect, lovely and warm 😍 . Breakfast was outstanding. Cooked to perfection by Kerry 😋 Andi went above and beyond for us throughout our stay. Andi and Kerry were exceptional hosts who couldn't do enough for us, very friendly and such a lovely couple. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for our lovely stay.

This was our second visit to the Langley and Andi and Kerry are going from strength to strength. It has to be the best place to stay in Whitby-the rooms are beautiful and extremely well-appointed and, sometimes, you can see dolphins from the bedroom as we did. Andi and Kerry are perfect hosts, friendly and helpful and happy to go that little bit extra to assist. Hospitality isn’t an easy skill to master but Andi and Kerry have nailed it. Thank you both for a perfect weekend, made more special by staying in a wonderful hotel.

Dear Team RAF, a second visit and again a pleasure to look after you both. I had asked the Dolphins for a time schedule so that it coincided with your visit and I'm glad it paid off for you both. We're so lucky to enjoy The Langley with you and hope that 2024 brings another visit with more of the very same. Stay very safe you lovely pair and love to you both. xxx

I would very highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting this lovely part of the country. A lovely warm welcome from Andi on our arrival. Then taken up for a “tour” of the beautiful, spacious & well-equipped rooms……catered for everything that you could need for your time away. Andi & Kerry certainly made my friend’s 60th birthday a special one, with balloons galore & chilled champers ready to celebrate. The breakfasts are not for the feint hearted, but thankfully you can have as much or as little as pretty much whatever you want – a great start to any day. I stayed in room 6, which had a stunning view of the seafront too, with binoculars provided to catch a glimpse of whales and seals, sadly not to be on this occasion due to the inclement weather – so think this crazy cat lady is going to have to come back! I am going to have to come back! Thank you both.

Another brilliant stay in Whitby at The Langley, must be about our 8th stay with there. Andi & Kerry are amazing hosts, the BNB is outstanding in every detail. I cannot fault it at all, the rooms are so clean with lovely views of the sea front. The breakfast keeps you going all day, with a wide choice of items, from the full Langley to just toast, and don't forget the homemade marmalade. The chit chat from Andy, is well..... entertaining, and keeps us all amused each day. We love it. Not sure if the sentiment is returned to the Aston team, but he has accepted our booking for 2024, so all is good. Cant wait to be back there. No better place to stay in Whitby. Keep up the great work guys.

Lynn and I have stayed at The Langley many times and we recently returned from a four day visit. We stayed in room six which has great views over the small park, the sea and is a stones throw away from the Pavilion Theatre where we attended the sixties pop shows. The sash windows are a great feature. All the rooms at The Langley are quite spacious and extremely well kitted out. Although the B&B was fully occupied we never heard any other guests at night. The breakfast room is delightfully decorated with many windows letting in lots of natural light. The breakfasts themselves are wonderful. There is lots of choice, delightfully presented and you can have as little or as much as you want. Andi and Kerry work so hard to make your stay enjoyable. This is the standard that other B&B's should aspire to. This is the best B&B we have stayed in and we recommend it to our friends. We have booked to stay at The Langley twice in 2024. Like ourselves The Langley have many repeat guests year on year.

The Langley is described as a 5 star B&B which, rightly, sets the guest expectations high. In practice, 5 stars does not do it justice. Everything about the Langley is exceptional - from the moment you arrive till the moment you leave. Andi is the perfect host. We arrived a couple of hours earlier than check in time hoping that we could leave our cases but as our room was ready we could check straight in. The rooms are large, well appointed and spotless. There are also lots of little extras - a generous tea tray, a fridge, fresh milk (replenished daily), bottled water (replenished daily), chocolates, biscuits, an iron and ironing board, a safe, a fan. Plus wonderfully soft towels in the bathroom, lovely toiletries, cotton wool etc. Wine glasses are provided should you want to have a drink in the room. The beds are large and very comfy. Plenty of drawers and wardrobe space. Breakfast is substantial with plenty of choice. Again, nothing is too much trouble and breakfast can be tailored to pretty much any combination. The only problem is eating it all! This was our second visit to The Langley, this time to celebrate my birthday and they really made it special. The room (and the shower cubicle!) was covered in balloons, as was our breakfast table the next morning. Nothing was too much trouble. This place is an absolute joy to stay in and I can't wait to return.

Another wonderful stay at the Langley. Excellent position overlooking the sea on the West Cliff. Large well appointed room, immaculately clean and excellent breakfasts. Andi can’t do enough for his guests and makes it a memorable stay. He went over and above to decorate our room and surprise my partner for her 60th birthday. We can’t wait to return to both the Langley and Whitby.

We stayed in The Langley for 3 nights and enjoyed every second. The room was spacious very clean and well laid out and the views were to die for. The bed was very comfortable, there was everything that one could ask for including a fabulous range of facilities on the tray which were replaced each day including biscuits and chocolates. Plenty of milk for tea and coffee. The fridge was bug enough to store extra drinks. Andi is a wonderful host nothing was too much. He made the stay even more amazing. The breakfast choices were superb with a great variety of fruit and cereals. Definitely something for everyone. Can't recommend this hotel enough we will be returning next year.
