Dear Team Leyburn, thank you so much for coming to visit us again and looking after the room so well as always. In all this nasty stuff it's great to see my returning guests, swap stories and just make sure your safe. Next time I know we'll be a greater step back to our "Normal" when The Langley returns to what it does best- looking after our wonderful returning friends. Stay safe guy's.

Just returned from our first ever visit to The Langley and we already know that it was the first of many visits to come. Hosts Andi and Kerry could not be more friendly, nothing is too much trouble and everything is done with a smile. The Langley is immaculate, very centrally located and the choice of hot and cold breakfasts caters for every taste. Social distancing was observed and all rooms 'fogged' for a deep sanitisation daily. Our room had fantastic views on the sea and a four poster bed, huge bathroom and every facility you could ask for. We have returned home laden with ideas and suggestions of places of interest to visit next time, courtesy of Andi and we're sincerely hoping that it won't be too long.

Had another brilliant stay at The Langley with Andi and Kerry. Cannot fault a single thing with the place. The rooms are large, very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious, with a wide selection of cereals, fruit, yogurt before the main event of cooked bacon, sausage, beans, tomatoes, egg, fried bread, black pudding, mushrooms (think I have included everything). No problem if you only want to have part of this or all it, just ask nothing is too much trouble. You can also rest assured that Andi is strictly abiding with the Covid19 regulations, ensuring that the hotel is as safe as possible for all his guests. We were a little nervous with the Covid situation, but felt perfectly safe staying at The Langley. We will definitely be returning, sorry Andi you will have to put up with the lycra again!!! This is our favourite Guest House. The rooms are spacious, with several having sea views. The breakfast is first class with a large choice. Nothing is too much trouble for Andi & Kerry, they are excellent hosts. Having been involved with Health & Safety in my career I was amazed how much effort the Langley has put into protecting the guests from coronavirus. I don't know of any other guest house that uses a antiviral fogging machine to effectively disinfect the whole room. Have never had trouble finding a parking space. We look forward to coming back in the future.

First time in Whitby, Sept 21st for 2 nights and we could not have selected a better place to stay. Was a bit on edge with travelling away during this difficult time, but should not have worried at all with the re-assurance that was on show and offered at The Langley. All covid precautions and more on show all over and i'am sure you would not find another place that went to those lengths. Well done Andi. The Langley was excellent accommodation from warm welcome, the cleanliness of the rooms, great location and the full English was a work of art and a shame to spoil it. But that had to be done!! Would definitely recommend a stay here even in these difficult times and we will certainly be returning. Looking forward to the Rib eye been back on the menu!!! Thanks again Andi, Gary and Shirley

Dearest Team Rib eye, So your very first visit too us and at a time when I can't show the very best of what we have to offer. But that said how lovely to be able to look after you both and show what we have to offer in the future. Gary, the Rib eye is ready for your next breakfast, Shirley the Slow Gin will be ready to give you a thick head. Stay very safe until your next venture to us and thank you for your lovely report in this very different time. xxx
