Me and my husband and a couple of friends stayed in one of the apartments my friend booked it I think through the queens hotel ? Well that's where we collected the keys it's about a 5-10 minute walk and only a 20 minute walk to the station which was good . The apartment was lovely very very clean and... More

These apartments are situated just around the corner from the Queen's Hotel & only a short walk away from the hub of the City. There is a small but secure (gated) car park, which was great in that we could load & unload our belongings easily & then forget about the car for the rest of our stay, as all... More

Registered early before our apartment was ready at Queens Hotel reception but we were able to leave our bags, it’s easy walking distance from station and into the city. On return given 3 keys and a card for the lights and found the apartment easily (and the tiny car park so glad we didn’t need it) We had asked for... More

Three of us shared an apartment for a weekend conference, it was much nicer than having a hotel room. Very central, reasonably priced, clean and perfect for what we wanted. It was a real bonus having a parking space under the building too. One of the receptionists at the hotel was scruffy and sarcastic which wasn't great, but we mentioned... More

This is the second time our little group of Four Lady Machems has taken the train to York and stayed @ a Victoria Cloisters Apartment, I never got round to reviewing it then but apart from needing re-decorating it was just as good. (We were informed by the cleaning supervisor that refurbishments were underway from the ground floor upwards!).The keys... More

These apartment are in a great location, just a short walk to bars, shops and attractions. They give great flexibility with self catering facilities - everything you could need in an apartment. Some of the decor could do with a refresh but still overall a great choice

Spent two days at this accommodation using Living Social deal. Our first room had problems with the water not heating. We mentioned it at the reception and we were moved to a new apartment immediately. We had no further problems. Breakfast is at the Queens Hotel which is close by and was very good. Ideal location when visiting York. Staff... More

I had booked via the Living Social app, saving a nice amount. Which was a bonus! Staff when booking over the phone where very helpful. Apartment was very spacious and clean! My only issue was a big deposit payment on arrival of £100, that is a nice chunk of spending money.

Stayed here as a part of 4 adults for a 2 night break. These apartments are great, and the breakfast in the hotel was really good. It's a shame that we will not return here due to the lack of hot water. The showers work on a tank system. In a 2 bedroomed apartment with 2 bathrooms, there was only... More

Ideal location literally a 5 minute walk to York city centre. The apartments were very clean and tidy throughout. The car park is tiny and there aren't enough spaces for all of the apartments. You have to wash up and take out your own rubbish otherwise you will be charged £25. Breakfast at the nearby queens hotel was very nice... More
