Bear in mind that there is no elevator which made it a little tricky with stroller, but we knew this beforehand. They provided a portacot for baby. Access to full service workout facility but unable to use since we couldn't have the baby in the stroller and no crèche available. Good location somewhat off the beaten path. Staff at the...

We stayed at Middletons on 14th January for one night. The hotel is in a great location and only a short walk to the city centre. When we arrived at the hotel (a party of 6 females) we were allocated double rooms. We asked if there were twin rooms available but the receptionist said no. We were shown to our...

We stayed here for 1 night. It's not the cheapest place to stay but you can park and the rooms are really nice. Staff seemed very pleasant and helpful. Didn't book breakfast, I thought it was included at £105 a night 😳 but because it wasn't we ate in york at a pub that was nice and cheaper. Bar is...

Booked afternoon tea to celebrate my daughters birthday. Was quite disappointed as had a few issues: Dry, stale sandwiches Had to ask for tea 30 mins after the food Had to ask for cutlery Had to again ask for a teaspoon for the dessert that was in a tiny glass. Spoilt what should have been a pleasant birthday celebration

What a wonderful impromptu stay I had at the fantastic hotel! From the well appointed room with the comfiest bed I've slept in for a long time to the excellent scrambled eggs in the morning my experience was first rate. A special mention must go to the night manager Ollie who was welcoming, friendly & professional throughout! A member of...

Middletons Hotel is a great location for people visiting York. York Castle Museum and Minster are in walking range and the hotel is well set out, comfortable with very friendly, helpfull staff. I would highly recommend this.

Stayed as a family of 5 in one of the cottage rooms. Large room but in need of a refurbish as mould on walls under windows, dirty tiles. Lots of tea and coffee available and bottles of drinking water. Cups were dirty and mismatched sizes too. Didn't feel like staying in a hotel. There was a bar area with dining...
