Such a lovely place! Very close to town, within a short walking distance. Rooms are very modern and extremely clean. Lovely owners too! Breakfast was included in the price and was great. Would definitely stay again.

Recently stayed for 1 night and found Beech House to be a great choice. It's central, it's quiet, it's clean and tidy, it's great value. Breakfast was excellent, cereals, fruit, a cooked option, including veggie cooked option. The owners are friendly, but not in your face, and can give you good intel about places to see in York and how...

The property was found to be in a very clean and tidy condition, with service from 'welcome to departure' that was very good, and with a great choice of different options at breakfast. The property was located no more than a 15 minute walk from the city centre through the museum gardens, or on the pathway alongside the River Ouse...

On arrival we were greeted by the manager. Parking is limited so he very kindly moved his car so we could have a space. The room itself (en-suite) was extremely clean and tastefully decorated with a flat screen TV and very good quality tea/coffee and biscuits. Breakfast - wow, this is simply amazing and definitely not small! It was the...

Stayed overnight here. What struck me first was it was scrupulously clean. That is such a massive bonus. Lovely rooms and fit for purpose. We were at the front of the house and we were not disturbed by any of the trains at all even with the window open. Ideal for the centre of York. Fabulous breakfast in the morning...

I had a lovely one night visit to Beech House, and wish it could have been longer. Mark and Geniene were very friendly and most helpful with directions. My room was clean and comfortable and despite being on the front of the house near the road and train lines was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices both...

Parking is provided as is a good breakfast which sealed the deal for us. The owners are helpful and keep the place super clean which is a real plus. Our room and...

Lovely 2 night stay at the beech house. Ideal location for city centre attractions and the train station. Our room was on the top floor up two fights of stairs, the room was perfectly clean and a good size. It was quite warm when we stayed but there was a fan provided in the room which was great. The owner...

September 12-14th 2016, had a lovely stay at Beech House, Mark and Geniene made us feel very welcome. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was lovely. Beech House is in a quiet street, close to easy access to the river Ouse, the walk to the city centre from here is picturesque and strolling takes about ten minutes, coming back through...
