Such a great place to stay! It's really quiet and homely, the staff are warm and friendly and you get a wonderful breakfast included in the price. Definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting York!

I have been staying here with my family and i have to say that it is just like home, the rooms are very nice and are a good size, the food is very good, but i would prefer the option of breakfast in bed, (my suggestion of this did not go down too well), the landlady is the perfect host,...

A great B&B, we stayed here for 4 nights in April in Room 3 which overlooked the Parkland and views to the Minster. The room was found it to be a very comfortable large bedroom that was perfect for our needs. Heating throughout and we were never cold. Breakfasts were fantastic thanks to our host Sandy for her culinary skills...

We stayed at this hotel in August 2011 for 5 days with our daughter......we had a lovely time... the room was comfortable and had everything we needed.......we had a fab view of the Minster....its only a short walk in the city and is an ideal spot....breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked to order........would we stop in this hotel again....certainly would......

My wife, myself and two friends have just had 6 days stay at the Bootham Hotel and could not fault this accommodation. The rooms are very clean and warm with comfortable beds, tea/coffee making facilities are in the room along with biscuits, crisps and bottled water. Great location - The hotel was in a quiet spot and just a short walk away from the town centre. The room was very cosy and the breakfast very tasty! The staff were very friendly and helpful.
