just a really nice place to stay, the kitchen lounge on the top floor is great well equipped , quite possible to make dinner, breakfast etc , whole place very clean , spotless , friendly, good position , good TV , good bed , spacious, warm

just returned from a 4 night stay rooms are lovely and spotless andrew and joanne so friendly breakfast was delicious.this is located in a quiet area about 15 min walk to centre but can catch a bus only a couple of minutes away this is a great base if going to york races only at the bottom of the road...

Stayed for Friday and Saturday night at the St. George B & B. We were allocated room 2 which is a large well kept and clean room at the front of the house. Double bed was really comfortable. The owners were most welcoming and obliging. The food for breakfast was plentyful and well presented. The guest house is just off...

We stayed for 2 nights and have to say it is a well run astablishment very clean and an excellent breakfast nothing was too much trouble, I am trying to think of a negative but am unable to do so, I would certainly stay here again in the future

Second visit to this B&B and we live it. Situated only a 10 minute walk from Mickelgate in a quiet cul-de-sac it's ideal. Perfectly cooked breakfast, very friendly hosts, on and off road parking is available. The room we stayed in was spacious with large double bed, tv, tea coffee, etc.. Fab little guest house, great location about 20 mins walk to the centre. One morning had breakfast in bed and on two occasions made us a bacon sarnie to go!! Will definately come back!! Lovely comfy bed nice and quiet,Thanks x

Just returned from fantastic weekend in York , staying at St. George's Place . We stayed on the second floor , large spacious rooms excellent ensuite. Lovely warm and inviting .Also includes shared kitchen / lounge fully equipped with oven microwave dishwasher TV comfortable sofas everything you would need and more, iron and ironing board, fantastic friendly hosts nothing was...

We have just come back from a lovely long weekend break in York, staying at 6 St.George's Place and it was just wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble, the owners were lovely, friendly with a good sense of humour and the room we stayed in (no.3) was stunning! There was a varied choice for breakfast and the food tasted great....

What is not to like about this place situated about 25 minutes from town in quiet cul-de-sac. The owners are really accommodating to all your needs. Breakfast superb that sets you up for the day. Will be back.

Great place to stay..short walk from the centre..plenty of usefull information in welcome folder and foyer. A lovely huge room and great staff..warm and welcoming and very clean.. Breaky is fab.. Would deffinately book here again..
