Stayed here a few weeks ago, and what a gorgeous place to have our first experience of glamping. The location was beautifully peaceful, and because of the lack of light pollution you can see so many stars at night. The pods are cosy but spacious enough, well-heated, and had tea

We had our first child-free night in two years and decided to book in here. Booking was easy, staff on site helpful and friendly both on the phone and in person. The pod was lovely and clean with a kettle, two mugs and various teas coffees etc. Heating was great, a bit too hot

The surroundings are lovely; I arrived after dark and somewhat late, but there was no fuss and the late check in instructions worked perfectly, and the path to the pods was well lit - and then seeing it in daylight emerging from my pod was a treat! The pods are well heated and

Hi, Yes we have a BBQ area setup for people to use disposable BBQs central to the pods with seating and a gazebo. In terms of renting bikes there's a place in the city centre, at the railway station called "Cycle Heaven", they are the best people to contact and if you drop us an email I can also supply a map showing the route to cycle from there to us. If there's anything else I can be of assistance with let me know,

Hi Jen, Thanks for your booking. There's no shortage of things to do in and around York, it really depends what kind of things interest you though.. A good start is looking at the VisitYork webpage and their list of attractions and their What's on page.

Hi there, thanks for your itnerest in staying with us. Guests do arrive by public transport but we are outside the city and the nearest bus stop is about 10 minutes walk away. There is no footpath or street lighting for part of the way either so walking from the bus stop may not be convenient at this time of year. Taxis are an option, from the station it should be approximately £15. We don't currently hire bikes ourselves but if you do wish to hire them the best option is Cycle Heaven at the railway station. Cycling to us is an option and would take about 40 minutes. If you have any other questions let me know.

Hi Linda, Thanks for your interest in staying with us. We do have an area for people to use the their BBQ's, but for safety reasons not actual campfires. Best Regards, Ben
