Looking at the website, the Hotel 53 mentions that they have a car park, this is that same on the Expedia website too. This is not true. The hotel do not own a car park and the nearest on they direct to is a pay...More
Stayed for 1 night after sightseeing with our 9 year old daughter....perfect location as everything was less than a 10 minute walk away. We parked in the Peel Street car park which was just up the road and seemed more secure than the one opposite...More
Really enjoyed our stay! Very welcoming! Amazing with our son's allergies and he has a few! Would highly recommend! Close walking distance from city center! Rooms clean and tidy! Loved the coffee maker!

I stay at this hotel a lot when visiting York for business. It is personal and friendly and the rooms are of a high standard - so with the impending re-branding to Holiday Inn I hope it doesn't change!
