I cannot praise the food and service here highly enough we went with a party of 6 and the food was superb. I had the salt beef which was so tasty and my partner had the blade of beef which was also as good. We had a 2 course meal with 4 bottles of wine and beers for £35 per...

I have eaten here several times and had the set menu of two courses for £6.95. The soup is always lovely as a starter and could be a meal on its own. Yesterday I had fish and chips as my main and it was freshly cooked and huge. Waiting staff are very helpful and friendly.

Three adults three kids and they found us space at short notice. Have never had a bad meal here and it didn't disappoint. Blade of Beef is outstanding, and the best Irish Coffee I've ever had. Well worth a visit

Came for supper with a couple of work colleagues. Turning left from the rear entrance was a bit of an abrupt entrance into what was more of a dining room than a pub although the other bar looked more like a traditional pub. What we got was friendly and quick service with a big menu and some great specials. We...

Since my last review of the Coach and Horses in 2012 we have stayed a further three times and so I thought it was time to complete another review and provide some very positive feedback on our stays. We last stayed around three weeks ago on the Saturday before the Grand Prix. Les and Anthea are always very welcoming and...

Our room was small and hot but reasonably clean, and fun with low beams and pleasant up lighting. The food came in generous portions although not exactly as advertised in the menu. Decor in the room fairly fresh, pub old fashioned, telly on and radio at the same time...

This had to be the worst carvery i have ever eaten. 19 people and the only descent meal was the starter that came out as a main meal. How you can make rare beef chewy is beyond me.The Yorkshire pudding were like chamois leather. If your staying in one of the rooms eat somewhere else.

We were driving around looking for a nice pub lunch and found the Coach and Horses. We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome and the food was brought out very quickly and was very well cooked. Price was very reasonable and the choice was varied. WHAT A GREAT FIND. We will be recommending the Coach and Horses to all...

We had two nights B & B here. A comfortable double room in the old barn, where there was no sound from the bar. The restaurant was packed on Friday evening, and there were plenty of friendly locals in the bar. The breakfast was very good.
