Brie starter was great. Mixed grill was dry and bland. Steak was requested as rare and came out well done. The restaurant was almost empty but the chef wasn't up to scratch. Serving staff didn't know what to do about it when I complained. Was eventually offered a free drink!

We stayed here for a weekend and will definatly come back. Would highly recommend the food was lovely. The room we stayed in was cosy and very clean. Nice to stay in a proper pub great open fire with great beer.

We visited this lovely pub for a meal for 2 and were not disappointed. We both had the blade of beef and it was super. Friendly staff and great service also. Will definitely be back again soon with all of the family.

"Room 1 gets all the trough traffic into the block going past the door"
"We stayed on the lower floor as they have staircases to the upper level. We stayed the lower floor due to the suitcases we had. Although there were guests upstairs we could hear their footfalls but it wasnt that loud."
"They don't have many rooms, so plan your journey and call ahead of time to avoid disappointment !"
