Unless you a fortune to stay at the house, what you get is a "cottage" cottages as they describe them are fusty old fashioned and serious need of an update, 1970's look with frilly net curtains in the bathroom, and a horrible smell and that was before the bonfire of horse manure out the back that went on for 2 days so eventually they stank of smoke and so did your clothes! More like stable block than cottages . £100 a night its cheaper to stay at Sedgebrook Hall 2 mins down the road. In my opinion definately not worth the money.
Good venue for a small to medium party or conference. Good parking and nice building. Food provided at two events i attended was good. Room used clean and comfortable with good service. Would i use..yes
The decision of deciding where to have your wedding is so stressful and can be incredibly overwhelming. I had never been to Brampton Grange before, but had driven past many times admiring the wonderful grounds. We first visited Brampton Grange where Tracey showed us around, she also kindly showed my parents around separately. We all instantly fell in love with the venue, and saw many other wedding photos on how Brampton Grange can be transformed and made personal. Tracey was available to us to answer all queries and sat down with us numerous times in the lead up to the wedding (she really knows her stuff)! We opted to use most of the preferred suppliers, and this worked great as Tracey liaised with them directly, and the suppliers knew the venue. Even for those suppliers not on the preferred list, Tracey introduced herself and helped coordinate them so the day could run smoothly. When we were looking for a venue, we wanted to make sure we could be really flexible, and food was very important to us! We initially intended to bring in our own caterers, thinking that this would be the only way to ensure we could eat what we wanted, however Tracey introduced us to their Chef Stuart. Stuart got to know our likes and dislikes, and even visited our favourite restaurant to recreate our favourite dish! We were so impressed when we went for our menu tasting. We had capanes (chicken satay, bruschetta, Welsh rarebit, Pate), spicy tomato and sausage pasta with garlic bread and a lemon cheesecake. It was absolutely fantastic and we had it on our wedding day. Our evening food was a variety of pulled meats in brioche buns, smoked cheese beef burgers and anti pasti with salads. This was served in a shack outside and went down so well on the day. We had so many compliments about the food and we have Stuart and his team to thank. The staff at Brampton Grange were phenomenal! They even brought me capanes when I arrived at the venue to make sure we didn't miss out!! They were all so friendly and welcoming. We had the immediate wedding party stay at the house the night after the wedding. This helped keep the wedding magic alive for a bit longer. It was so nice to debrief with our friends after the wedding and the house was the perfect place to do this. I would seriously recommend using the house. It is beautiful and perfect for such a magical occasion. From start to finish (even in the weeks after the wedding) Tracey has been amazing. From allowing us to set up all of our decorations, to answering every query and meeting with us when we needed help. I cannot thank her enough. I had such a magical wedding day, and I would highly recommend Brampton Grange. …
What a lovely old building, this place is very busy and you can understand why. I hope to return someday and experience the out door BBQ .The staff are excellent and this place has a good feel about it. I returned 3 times in a week.
Had our wedding at Brampton and it was perfect! The staff were excellent, venue was clean and tidy and it really was the picture perfect venue. Stayed in cottage 1 and again a lovely little cosy cottage, not very big but managed 5 bridesmaids, 1 mum, 1 auntie and 2 photographers in there!!! In the morning breakfast was cooked and it was delicious, we Could have what we liked and was cooked to order! Defiantly recommend this venue 100% for weddings birthdays any celebratory occasion.
What a cracking spot set in the Northamptonshire countryside with the twinkling lights of Northampton as a back drop. The service was excellent and the food delicious. The converted barn is a really superb venue. The outer bar and loos are maybe a little dated but overall it was a superb setting for a great evening.

We visited England to attend a wedding recently and the reception was held at Brampton Grange. The facility was absolutely beautiful from the grounds to the rooms and common areas. Further the area and villages surrounding the area were beautiful and full of great character. Brampton Grange provided a taste of what life must have been like on a lovely estate years ago. Very happy we had the opportunity to visit this gem.
Amazing wedding in marvellous place. I have been here before and it's not disappointing. Lovely staff, amazing atmosphere and of course wonderful wedding. If you think about wedding venue consider this place as it will be good experience
Brampton Grange provided everything we wanted for our wedding day. We were extremely well looked after and the venue had so much charm and elegance. The food was wonderful and passed all expectations. The beautiful accommodation meant that our family didn't have to travel after the event and the manor house added so much to everyone's enjoyment. I'll never forget getting ready in the main suite. Our experience was truly excellent.
