Great hotel just outside the town Center (£8-£10 in taxi) really friendly staff. Breakfast was good and room really comfortable. Added bonus for my group was Rugby team we supported also stayed in hotel. Bar in evening was fine but little trip into town Center. There is a gym and lovely walk outside on grounds.

This hotel needs investigation. We booked online using a filter for hotels in Northampton with spa and pool. Looking forward to a swim after recovery from breast cancer was planned my first swim after surgery and first romantic get away with my husband. Called the hotel before we set out on our journey to double check booking was in place. They said yes but that we had 2 rooms booked instead of one, which was not correct so had to then call the booking agent booking.com to find out why. Booking.com gave no explanation said they would cancel the extra room for free, sent confirmation that was the case and so we set out on our journey to Northampton we had a dinner dance planned at the Hilton on the Saturday evening and was looking forward to a mini spa at the Marriott, on arrival we double checked with staff that we had only one room booked. Asked where to go to use the pool and was told they had not got the spa anymore closed down over 2 years ago lots of people make that mistake they said. They do not take responsibility for how the hotel is advertised online. Google and other booking agencies are still showing the old pool pictures for this hotel and is still coming up as hotel with spa when using online filters there is another guest left a review in February this year 2024 left a review saying booked for spa but on arrival no spa facilities and the hotel responded saying they had let departments know to update online facilities. And here we are they have not done so and we are out of a nice weekend away because of it. To top it off they charged us 2 times for one room total of £300 charges and we are still waiting for a refund. Food was cheap quality and dry, room was substandard and dirty bedding, hot at night, loud noisy traffic when u open the window for air. Room and services not worth £140 per night. Will be contacting trading standards about this hotel.

Great location for where I needed and the hotel was lovely. Staff super friendly and the room comfortable. I got a bit cold in the room at one stage but easily rectified as thermostat on the wall. Yeah and coffee facilities in the room with a handy take away cup so you can take one with you in the morning. Breakfast was good - plenty of choice and nicely cooked. Scrambled eggs as the standard option but can ask for fried or poached to be cooked to order and there was also an omelette station. Would stay again.

Rude lady at the desk, not as advertised. No pool or hot tub. When complained they did not care. Only reason we booked was pool for two night. Not willing to give refund for second night so we could find a better hotel. Advice is find another hotel.

We have not made it to this wonderful hotel for a year, despite having booked several times last year, but life got in the way. We had been coming here every couple of months for 5 years. When we got here it was like coming home to family. The staff were largely unchanged which is testament to the Management and the dedication of the staff. As always all the staff, the service and the food were fantastic. We are still in the hotel having extended our stay for another night and I wish we could stay longer but life is calling. Our thanks to all the staff (too many to name) and we will not be leaving it as long for our next stay. Sorry !

Attended a meeting at the Delta hotel, we use it a lot as a business for meetings, today we had lunch too. My dietary requirements make it more difficult to eat out, today however, I had a lovely cooked meal and even dessert without gluten, dairy or any seed oils used as either ingredient or part of the cooking process. Wonderful staff took time to check before arrival on needs, check timings on the day and ensure my food was warm and fresh! I really really appreciated the efforts, it has made my day!

Our stay was fantastic and all the staff were really helpful and professional. We had one of the engineers come to our room to help us out called Derek who couldn’t do more to help us and fixed the problem immediately. I would really recommend staying at this hotel as we were made to feel so welcome. I will definitely be returning to this hotel the next time I stay in Northampton.

Good nights sleep in room 225 and well done to the cleaning staff our room was spotless. I love a mini fridge in the room so a big tick for that. Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice although the self serve drinks machine holds everyone up. Overall for the price this is good value for money.

This is definitely one of the best hotels in Northampton. I have stayed here many times throughout the year and previous years. The staff are always friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms are always clean and tidy and if I request a room they always try to accommodate me. The breakfast is great with lots of choices for everyone. This hotel is in a great location. Its very close to Northampton town centre and surrounding areas. I dont normally write reviews but this hotel definitely deserves a mention. The price of the rooms are also not bad for the service you get. You should check out this hotel if you are looking at staying in Northampton.

Overall good with good food and excellent staff. Especially the chap on housekeeping that we spoke to when needed who was more than helpful. Deserves an award for his customer service as spot on. Wish I'd got his name. However, bit shocked when we checked in to discover that as we were only staying 2 nights our room would not be serviced during our stay. This is not made clear on the website and you are still charged full room rate. (Will add here it was serviced as I complained). Does make me wonder if their corporate guests would suffer un-serviced rooms. We were told if we needed any additional towels, etc we could ask for them and they would be provided. This is a four star hotel! I would expect that the room should be serviced every day as you are paying premium rates for a certain level of service. If Marriott don't want to service the room every day then give a discount on the price. You can't expect people to pay full rate for 1/2 a job. If I wanted rubbish service and an unmade room for my stay I could book a cheap hotel elsewhere. The excuse given was they were being environmentally friendly and using less chemicals when I spoke to the reception manager. If you are the same resident in the room you don't necessarily need chemicals to clean the sink or toilet. A quick wipe round with a damp cloth and tidy the bed, no need to change sheets and then put the room straight. When I go away for a break I don't want to be making my own bed etc. Part of having a break is to be looked after and having been out for the day coming back to a room that is clean and refreshed. Not a tired bed from the night before welcoming you through the door. I suspect this is more of a money saving operation than an eco one as it means they are spending less on housekeeping staff, and also less on soaps etc. As a Marriott Bonvoy Gold member I consider this a disappointing drop in standards from the Marriott Group.
