Stayed here for an 80th birthday party and catching up with family that were no longer in a position to 'put u up'. It is a fantastic place to stay - very accommodating and understanding as the UK traffic plays havoc with your ETA on a minute by minute basis - nothing was a problem. It is close to the...

Stayed here before the Hexham Half Marathon and the place is lovely, as were the hosts. They were very informative and made the stay most enjoyable. Amazing four poster bed too! They recommended a nice local eatery and knew the area well. We had cycled from Newcastle and they provided us with somewhere to store our bikes too. Thanks very...

Les and Margaret and Clyde the dog make you feel like one of the family. The rooms are neat and comfortable. It's a great location, just a 10 minute walk into town. My brother and I enjoyed their helpfulness in choosing sights to see, places to eat. The breakfasts are real food, full English or Continental if you eat light....

I stayed at this bed and breakfast with my wife, my three daughters and the boyfriend of one of my daughters, for a wedding and reception in nearby Langley Castle. It wasn't until after we had booked that we spotted the bad review on this site suggesting that the proprietors didn't like their customers to stay out late and didn't...

Nothing was too much trouble - I was taken to a garden on the Saturday morning, and so had a local tour of the area, all completely free of charge.
