Stayed for two nights whilst visiting the area. The room and bed were fine, clean and looked recently decorated. Cooked breakfast was OK, with cereals available. Friendly hosts provided lots of information about the area.

Stayed overnight, to attend a family wedding. Due to several traffic jams en route, I arrived with only minutes to get ready and was grateful for their kind understanding. Gerald and Maggie were so kind and helpful. Highly recommended

Had a lovely couple of nights at this spotlessly clean and friendly B & B. Friendly hosts, great sense of humour, lovely breakfasts. Great local knowledge. Very happy to recommend this place and to stay again.

We have just enjoyed great hospitality here. Lovely surroundings, comfy room and friendly, attentive hosts. We were able to choose our breakfast time, which meant we could enjoy a lie in, followed by a huge cooked breakfast.

Gerald and Maggie are the perfect, welcoming hosts, in their spotless, comfortable accommodation. Excellent breakfast too. Ideal spot for easy walking access to the BGS HQ. They posted on my contact lenses back to me when I absent-mindedly left them behind on leaving!

Every last aspect of my stay at Vine Lodge was perfect, from the first welcome from Gerald and Maggie onwards. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in for quite some time and all of the room facilities were of as high a standard as one could wish for. The breakfast was impeccable, perfectly cooked using premium ingredients....
