Location was amazing, however really difficult to get to the car park.. ended up having to pay for parking at a discounted price but slightly disappointing as the booking details said parking was included. Hotel was undergoing a refurbishment at the time but this didn't disturb our stay. The staff were lovely and really helpful. The room was clean however it was far too small, the double bed was pressed up against the wall leaving not much room to move around.. hopefully the hotel refurbishment will offer larger sized rooms!
We came here at the weekend and a friend got mixed up and consequently we weren’t booked in. Although it wasn’t the hotel’s fault they went above and beyond to find us a room despite being fully booked . We were so grateful and miles away from home so they really helped us out. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and pleasant. I’ve read reviews saying there’s no kettle or tea and coffee making facilities in the room. This is absolute rubbish!! There were facilities plus bottles of water, plus an iron and a hairdryer . Some else said the rooms were too hot, the window did open and there was a fan . I would happily stay here again. Location is fabulous too, plenty to do and lots of shops!
The hotel is centrally located in Nottingham and the rooms are solid though a little dated. I understand a number of businesses have suffered from staff shortages after coming out of Lockdown but the standard has suffered here so expect a wait to be served. Fortunately there are a number of establishments within a short walk so there is plenty of local choice or be one of the many who order in. Hopefully in time the hotel will improve and become a pleasant place to stay again, and staff will understand their roles.
I had booked a deluxe room 3 weeks inadvance for a one night stay on the 1st September, on arrival I was advised that I had been double booked and my room downgraded to a normal room at a discounted rate of £50 from £79, fair enough I thought, big mistake awlful experience, I did fall asleep at 11 but was woken at 1am by noise in the corridor from returning neighbours, then they played music, which resulted in a call to reception, I could hear talking all night and them having relations, really thin walls, no sleep at all, there was a stain on beside cabinet and blister pack of tablets on the floor, not cleaned correctly, asked for a full refund which I told I would get, was charged the original amount on my card so another call about refund, to be told I had been refunded £29,so had to talk again about the other £50,to be told it had been processed, now waiting to see if I get it,as it was graduation week I now feel like I was put in a poorer room as they felt I was a returning student I am not by the way, very poor disappointing quality of service from Hilton, I expected better, never again, the room was number 360,do not except this room, just remembered the bathroom fan ran alnight, peeling paint on one part of the wall and radiator, rubbish. I said all this to reception who said I welcome you back in March after the refit has been completed, but didn't mention a free stay, once again it was rubbish.…
Location is great, right in the centre. Parked opposite the Hotel in Trinity Car Park. The hotel offers 20% off the parking there. Lovely hotel , staff were all excellent. Large clean room. Breakfast buffett was the best ive seen for a long time. Chef making eggs & omelettes to order, lots of continental varieties & lovely hot English breakfast. Spa was nice but if was really cold in there. Will definitely be returning to this Hotel.
