We went to Toby Carvery on Father's day, we all went Dad (2 dad's) and one son-in-law with grandchildren, we had a good time, the staff were friendly and helpful and not at all fazed when it got really busy, there were children of all ages chattering and moving about but it was all calm and everything went smoothly and...

The food was ok. Not great and had to wait for the meats because they kept running out. A bit annoying as it wasn't that busy. What put me off ever returning was the attitude of the staff. My little girl (5) couldn't decide what she wanted to drink and the waitress kept huffing like a was a big inconvenience....

I hate to write bad reviews but this place only gets 1 star because the staff were so nice. We arrived and the car park had a lot of litter on it. Not a great start. The turkey was ok but the beef was gristley and I couldn't eat it. I did complain for what good that did. The veg...

Afternoon visit for drinks and food. Staff were friendly and helpful. Carvery was excellent with lots of meat choice and vegetables. Family friendly pub. The eating rooms are big and spacious offering some privacy between tables. Car park is excellent and easy to enter and exit. Trip advisor shows this as a hotel and we only saw it as a...

I have been coming here on a Monday girls night out for years but had not been for 9 months. We always have a salad and tonight we chose a carvery salad. May be at £5.99 one shouldn't grumble, but the salad was so boring (lettuce, tomato, cucumber and red onion). We asked the waitress what dressings she had to...

Food was tasteless, tables was dirty, Some of the vegetables was very hard but the meat was nice. The gravy was light brown water with no taste what so ever. I would even go as far to say that the Yorkshire puddings didn't even taste of anything Overall would not recommend this to anybody and definitely won't be going back.

Having been on a number of occasions in the past I thought I knew what to expect. Maybe it was me, but although I can just about accept that the place is going to be busy and therefore a little noisy, with the inevitable delays, the carvery meal I had was slightly disappointing due to somewhat tasteless vegetables. The meat...

Very little good to say about the place. It is in need of complete refurbishment and the food wasn't up to standard either. We met with family from away and we were glad they had booked this themselves or else we would have been embarrassed.
