Hotel was up to a brilliant standard with a happy entrance and very approachable staff. Room was top quality as premier inn rooms always are. Just went for a day away and I have to say it was very beneficial. Thankyou to everyone who helped me enjoy my visit to Nottingham west.

Arrived and were checked in very quickly and all the social distancing guidelines explained. The room was spotlessly clean no complaints, unfortunately the bed was not the most comfortable so had 2 nights rather uncomfortable disturbed sleep.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.and car parking good.

Booked an evening meal in the restaurant no problem, the food was good and social distancing observed well, only thing was non of the servers wore face coverings or face shields, but they were all very friendly and helpful.

Went for breakfast again everything was explained re table service and one way system. Were shown to our table and to our dismay it was filthy ,There was food on the floor, obviously not cleaned from the night before, the table had not been wiped down In fact the whole area looked as it had not been cleaned since the previous night. We asked to move tables which they allowed us to do, but still in the same area so not very pleased.
The Breakfast was good and plentiful and the waitress very attentive checking we had everything we needed.
The 2nd morning the area for breakfast had thankfully been cleaned and the breakfast again was very good.
Would stay here again but hopefully next time get a more comfortable bed, for a decent nights sleep, left feeling very tired and not at all refreshed.

I've stayed in many hotels, and always get a great nights sleep at Premier Inn. There's plenty of car parking, easy check in, friendly and welcoming staff.

Daughter & I both had the full breakfast which was great, always prefer the buffet style breakfast but because of covid it was full table service. Staff were attentive, friendly and service was speedy. As with most hotels now you have to book a breakfast slot.

It's about a 15 minutes drive into the city but there's also a tram stop right outside the hotel, we chose to drive in as it was the evening and we were going to a restaurant that had easy street parking directly outside.

The only minor niggle was that we couldn't get phone signal (EE) in our room and had to connect to the free wifi which kept disconnecting if you closed your phone down. It also kept trying to connect to the Ultimate Wifi which you have to pay for, although this wasn't really an issue, more of a slight annoyance. Would be helpful if it kept connected as once connected to the free one it worked really well.

We were booked in for 2 nights on a flex rate and decided purely based on the fact that it was a distance from the centre to cancel the second night and book a central hotel so we could walk to and from the restaurant & bar we'd made a reservation at. Had it been the city centre Premier Inn we would definitely have stayed especially as we felt the superior room at second hotel we booked was inferior to the one at Premier Inn. I didn't initially book the city centre Premier Inn one as it doesn't have car parking but there are plenty of car parks around and when we go again we'd no doubt opt for the more central Premier Inn as it's so lovely just to be able to walk out.

Arrived earlier than expected and asked if I could check in, I was told by Karen on the reception that they were just checking the room and it would be ready in 10 mins.
I had paid full price for breakfast but as it's the eat out to help out scheme at the moment, the breakfast was refunded and then had to pay the new amended price.

The room was fine more than adequate to meet the needs of myself and my child, however, it was extremely hot in this room, they don't have air con and the windows only open a tiny bit which is for safety, so be warned if you like being hot then you'll love it here.

Went into Nottingham via the tram which is literally a mins walk from the hotel which is an added bonus.

Breakfast was table service and was limited, you could still have the full English if you wanted, then you get to pick one from this list, porridge, museli or Weetabix, then another choice of natural yoghurt or strawberry, then either 2 toast, 2 crossiants or 2 pain au chocolate, unlimited tea and coffee but we were only allowed one small glass of apple juice, everything was brought to the table but you had to do your own toast and could get your own hot drinks, food was nice but I prefer the continental and would have preferred more choice.

It was okay as a quick stop over, was going to book and stay a further night but as I didn't sleep well due to the heat in the room I decided to just drive back home.

All in all it was okay, I wouldn't stay again due to being too hot, if they had fans or air con I would consider as it's located very close to the M1 and right next to the tram stop.

I stayed at the Premier Inn Nottingham West hotel on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th April along with my three sisters. The reason for our visit was to celebrate my sister's 70th birthday. The reason we chose this location was that it was equidistant for all of us as we were traveling from Newcastle, Ely, Berkshire and Hampshire. Our first nights sleep was badly disturbed by a car alarm going off from 3am. We spoke with the reception team the next morning who unfortunately were unable to help as whoever owned the car had not registered their car number plate with the desk. We explained to them exactly where the car was located, colour of the car and partial number plate. We asked if they could look at their CCTV but was advised that it wasn't working. On later questioning we were then told that the CCTV was working but that number plate recognition system was not working. We went down to dinner that evening and when we ordered our menu choices we were informed that they hadn't had their full food delivery and basically they didn't have any salad. This greatly reduced our menu choices. As I was unable to have the prawn cocktail I opted for the cheesy mushrooms. I then ordered fillet steak for my main course, cooked medium rare. I cook and eat fillet steak regularly and I do not believe that the meat I was served was in fact fillet as it was not only very thinly sliced but also the wrong shape. I believe I was probably served sirloin. Either way it was over cooked and definitely not medium well. One of my other sisters had the cannelloni which was in her opinion disgusting. The top of the dish was rock hard and the contents were at best watery and sloppy. We decided not to make a fuss as the waitress was rushed off her feet, there was just not enough staff on shift. When we went to bed that evening we were once again disturbed by the same cars alarm going off from 1am. At 3 am my sister rang down to reception who once again said that they were unable to help. We feel that is is totally unacceptable. Premier Inn allegedly pride themselves, and advertise that you will always get a good nights sleep. This was definitely not the case for us. I feel that the reception staff could have done more to investigate the offending vehicle and perhaps put a note on the car for the owner to contact reception. This was mentioned to the reception staff on checkout and there response was "I said that!" to one of her colleagues. Our experience has made us very wary about any future bookings we might have with Premier Inn.

Stayed here overnight with my daughter who was at a race event at Wollaton Park the following morning. Room was ideal - clean, spacious and plenty of room to hang clothes etc. There was a stained bath towel in the room but it was obviously freshly laundered so not too off putting! Beefeater restaurant is part of the hotel which is ideally located for dinner and breakfast. Food was nice and restaurant was ok - walls are a tiny bit grubby so could use a wash down or lick of paint but overall it is a good hotel and cost £70 for the 2 of us for one night including full English breakfast. Plenty of free parking and in a good location for M1 etc. Would recommend.

This is a very well positioned hotel - just off the M1 and right next to the park & ride/tram stop (Phoenix Park) making it easy to get into the city centre and around Nottingham in general. It meant we could leave our car in the car park by the Premier Inn for the whole weekend and get around without worrying about finding our way, driving in the city or parking. (Downloading the NET app saves you a little on tram fares too, and is convenient.)
Also situated next to a Beefeater restaurant (the Premier Inn breakfasts were served in there - generous even though covid regulations prevent them being buffet style) made this very convenient.
The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms are basic but clean and beds comfortable. With my son studying in Nottingham and living this side of the city centre, we will definitely be back, and will also be recommending this hotel to other family members too.

I travelled up to Nottingham on my own by National Express. This hotel is slightly out of town (hence the good price) but it is right next to the tram stop and there is also a good bus service. I felt well looked after. The first night was hot so I requested a fan which was provided. Also a shower mat for the bath. If I needed tea, coffee, milk or clean mugs, these were provided with a smile. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for either solo travellers or couples/groups.

We arrived and were checked in very quickly, No problems.
Had an evening meal from a limited menu, No problems.
Went down for breakfast, Problem, Problem.Problem.
Asked for Muesli, No Muesli available, but were told they had granola so we opted for that, what came out were bran flakes, not granola.
Asked for Greek yoghurt, no Greek yoghurt then we were served with Tesco branded Greek yoghurt in a pot which was poor to say the least.
Asked for toast and we we given our own bread to toast, no problem however for four slices of bread we were given two tiny sachets of jam and a sachet of marmite, the server never asked if we we wanted any specific preserve, they were just dropped on our table, we then had to ask for 2 knives so we could spread some butter on our toast, yes we were given butter.
Finally just when you thought nothing else could go wrong we asked for 2 croissants each as we could not eat the cereal. We were told by the sever that they only had 2 croissants left and we would have to have 2 pain au chocolat, without a hint of an apology.
As someone who has worked constantly throughout this pandemic I get the feeling that some people resent the fact that they have had to return to work.
Ending this review I would just like to point out that we stayed in the Lincoln premier inn 2 nights before and everything was perfect.
The running of the whole operation was so much more professional than Nottingham west, so it can be done.
