Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stayed in the travel lodge on a few occasions during the past month and felt very welcome. The staff were very enthusiastic and made the stay even better. Rebekah and Aaliyah was one of the staff here during my stay who was always greeting people with a smile and being very helpful throughout. Would definitely recommend to others,

Having checked in with our 2 small kids we kindly requested for a fan as my wife has a lung condition/ disability. Having travelled to 3 travelodges in the last week and many more in the year we have NEVER been refused a fan for a disability. The receptionist said there’s usually a fan in the room and my wife said there’s probably not as the 3 travelodges we travelled to in past week said the same thing that there would be a fan in the room and there wasn’t. Suddenly REBECCA (supervisor) abruptly said ‘we don’t have to provide a fan and if it’s such an issue you should bring your own’ We were somewhat shell shocked as to what she just said! Long story short we went to the room waited an hour went back down and were given the fan which was just in the cupboard next door to reception. All we asked for was a fan- which was so close to reception but instead were given a strong statement which is clear discrimination- REBECCA is unprofessional and should learn to talk with more manners.

Near to all the local amenities. Comfy clean and warm. Parking at the local NCP was close by. Visited the oldest pub in UK, by the castle, the shops were good as was the Theatre. We recommend a visit to Nottingham

Staff where lovely.. especially Josh the manager and Elu the night team member. Few teething problems such as batteries not working in my remote for the TV so I asked for more for them not to work. I did try and see if any buttons where on the TV but I couldn't see any. Room had alot of chips in the walls and carpet stains and rust in the bathroom but no fault of their own just general ware and tear. Breakfast was lovely and hosted by a lovely woman who looked like a assistant manager? I'm not sure of her name sorry. Would visit again just for the staff alone.
