I used the word “home” in the title because that is how it feels when you stay at The Paddock.

The house is lovely and homely, the rooms clean and comfortable and Jane could not be a nicer host.

I didn’t have breakfast this time, but even though I said the evening before that I wouldn’t be eating, Jane was happy to make whatever I fancied after-hoc for me, settled for a coffee and a great, friendly chat!

Stayed here with our rowing team for many years. Good beds, nice, clean and the breakfast is the best!

Henley is a lovely place, and The Paddock will be my go to place forever.

Jane and Mike are open and good people.

Stayed here 4 times.

We were for 2 nights at this amazing B&B.
As you might notice from my other posts, I am more a "hotel type" than a "B&B type". But this was my exeception that could make me a B&B type !
Jane and Mike made our stay indeed just perfect. Ranging from general comform in the spatious room, the surroundings and garden, plenty of parking space in front of the house to small details like a power plug adapter in the room, all the time abundance of (warm) water from the shower, the amazing selection of amenities, various relaxing bath foams and shampoo's, watercooker, coffee and biscuits, hanger and cupboard space available ,THE breakfast, just too much to mention.
These people have been travelling and wanted to do everything right for their guest. They do not just want to generate some income, they want their guest to feel comfortable.

Their house is located just on the outskirts of Henley, but within walking distance (5 min) of the towncenter. Even a great location if you are visiting London !

Thank you !

We chose to stay at The Paddock due to its ideal proximity to the centre of Henley on Thames and the waterfront. Our stay was for just the one night

Checking in was very easy and Jane welcomed us both with a lovely cup of freshly brewed coffee.

The room itself was the family room which was massive and had an abundance of space, along with an equally as large en-suite and Jacuzzi bath.

The room was very clean and homely and included tea & coffee making facilities, bottled water, a flat screen TV, DVD player, FreeSAT and a lovely balcony patio over looking a well maintained rear garden.

Off road parking is available at the B&B and because of the location meant we could leave our car and walk everywhere.

WI-FI was available in the room but unfortunately the signal wasn’t strong enough to maintain a stable connection.

The breakfast room was again very homely and Jane & Mike provided a fantastic full English breakfast, cereals, fresh fruit and pastries.

On the whole we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely consider returning if we needed further accommodation in the area.

What a fantastic B&B The Paddock is. Jane is a most welcoming host and one felt as though one was staying with friends. We had a fabulous room with dressing room and en suite bath and shower room. There was an exceptional attention to detail in every aspect of our stay. Breakfast was vast and beautifully cooked with well-sourced produce -it pandered to this ex-pat's cravings for a "full English" all too well and I had to ask for a downsizing the second morning we were there. I cannot recommend it too highly and we will stay there whenever we visit our daughter in the future.

I stayed at The Paddock for 2 nights while moving in to my new house in Henley. Part of my reason for choosing it was the universally positive Tripadvisor ratings, something which is relatively unusual in my experience. That said, I am very happy to add my "Excellent" to the list. The Paddock was as close to perfection as I could have hoped to experience. It started with the warm welcome from Jane when I arrived, continued with the room ("Emily"), which was equipped with everything I could have wanted - wifi, freeview TV channels, tea, coffee and a delicious range of biscuits, mineral water, comfy double bed, fluffy towels, en suite bathroom with lovely toiletries and bath as well as shower - I could go on, but I need to talk about breakfast. Oh, the breakfast! It is served family style around a big table in a family dining room. There is lots of information available about Henley on Thames to peruse over your meal, if you can take your mind off the food! Fresh fruits, juice, a great selection of cereals, yoghurts, delicious bread to toast as you like it, and cooked breakfast choices, by which I mean you can go for the full English, or just have a few slices of bacon to make yourself a bacon sandwich if that is your fancy. One of the best B and Bs I have ever stayed in. I have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending The Paddock to Tripadvisor travellers. The only thing that will stop me visiting again is that I now live in Henley!

We stayed the Paddock this weekend. It is the best B & B i have stayed in Jane made us feel really welcome and made us tea coffee and biscuits when we arrived. There was everything you could think of our room, with bottled water on each bedside table and large mineral water by our kettle. Balcony over looking pretty garden. I will certainly be going back.

We travelled to Henley to experience the Royal Regatta, and as usual every accommodation was booked out. We found this little place, the landlady Jane had converted some of her own bedrooms to accommodate guests for the Regatta. There is definitely the feeling that you're staying at somebody's house, but the room was big, comfortable, spacious, with a balcony and view of the garden. Every morning Jane cooked up the most unbelievable breakfast, accompanied by cereals, toast, yoghurt and fresh fruit salad, the sausages bacon and eggs were all local and organic. Breakfast was served outside in the beautiful gardens in the sun, with the morning paper. The centre of Henley is a 10 minute walk from here, so excellent location. A little pricey at £75 per night, but you won't find anything cheaper during the Regatta. We'll be going back next year.

Spent four nights with my wife and enjoyed the stay immensely.
Jane and Mike are excellent hosts. When you stay here it's as if you are part of the family. Our room was beautifully equipped, and with a large modern bathroom. Warning, people on the very large side may experience some difficulty with the shower cubicle as it's a little on the small side. Breakfasts are great and nothing seems a trouble for Jane. There is off street parking for several cars. When looking for the house, it's the first in Vicarage Rd, next to the school. The sign is quite small , and at the base of a large tree, and green, and we found it very hard to locate the home. Having said that, it was a pleasure to stay there. Located a short walk from the shops, it is in a generally quite residential area.
Highly recommended.
PS.. Be careful moving up or down the stairs. Narrow, especially when carrying heavy suitcases.
