Although they have few rooms, the hotel experience was great. Very nice staff, always smiling and willing to help. rooms where comfortable, clean, with a small minibar and complimentary coffee and biscuits in the room. Beautiful view from the breakfast restaurant to the thames, quite and enjoyable. Bottom line, very well recommended if you are staying in the area. Only...

Magical place for anyone interested in history, sports or both. The Leander Club is almost 200 years old and has an unrivalled record of success in Olympic sport. More interesting, they provide excellent 4 star accommodation and serve delicious food. This enables anyone to indulge in their sport history in the most enjoyable way.

My Husband recently had a 4 hour appointment with a member of the Leander Club. As we were driving around the UK on vacation away from our Lagos assignment, I just happened to be with him. I was welcomed into the lounge while he was whisked away to the Library for his meeting. I was given a lovely large pot...

Such friendly, considerate and happy staff. Spent a lovely evening and would definitely recommend. Beautiful historical setting and well worth a visit. Positioned on the river, ideal for a walk along the tow path.

This is a private members club but does offer amazing themed private bedrooms to the public. It also offers its truly unique facilities for wedding dinners and private get togethers. Miryam runs a brilliant team of young staff. Food and service is faultless everytime.

Privileged to attend a lunch at Leander Club and hear from Olympic gold medal winner Alex. Lovely food and a beautiful setting on the shore of the Thames. It's the place to be if you're into rowing. Would of been nice to have more of a white wine selection. Staff not always attentive to guest needs.

Dear Arlene Thank you very much for taking the time to complete a review. I'm sorry that our staff were not readily available for you whilst at this event. That something we are looking to improve. We do have buzzers located at various points throughout the Clubhouse, which enable guests to page staff to your location at any given time....

A unique experience in staying at the prestigious centre of British Rowing in a residential club steeped in history, overlooking the River Thames and all the activity on it, lovely walks either side of the residence, great food beautifully prepared, friendly staff, spotlessly clean everywhere, fascinating rowing threaded rooms, parking just outside, Henley quintessentially English town just across the bridge...

Thank you so much for your kind words. The staff take great pride in trying to emmulate our standards and our 4* rating from the AA. We're incredibly lucky to be situated on the bank of the River Thames, and ever hopeful that many more people can discover the history of Leander and rowing, in historic Henley. We do hope...

Stayed here overnight at a recent Charity event. The room was very good as was the meal the night before and breakfast the following morning. Bar staff the night before were scarce however with no one behind the bar at all at times and the one member of staff who did appear was surly and slow to serve.

Thank you very much for your review. I'm sorry you had trouble locating a member of staff. It's quite a maze of a Clubhouse and our staff do get called to all corners of it. We have a buzzer system in place so that you can page a member of staff to a number of different locations, at any given...

Superb guest rooms with huge and comfortable beds. All rooms are sponsored by individual universities/rowing clubs and are kept to tip-top standards. Our room, as most do, had lovely views of the Thames and of the towpath. The price includes a full English breakfast - the standard of which was superb. Free wi-fi in the rooms. Would highly recommend to...
