The Phyllis Court Club is located on the banks of the Thames, right where the Henley Regata finishes, and is very picturesque both inside and out. The first impression is of a posh, swanky venue but on closer inspection it appears to be trying a bit too hard: the Greek/Roman style pillars in the central area and the stone staircase...

Located adjacent to the Thames within 10mins walk of the beautiful town of Henley upon Thames, this hotel promises everything. But unless you like strict dress code and rules don't go there. It is a private club that is a throw back to the 1900's. You cannot fault the great staff and fantastic breakfast. The place is spotless and the...

People wandering around in jeans and trainers. Food very cheap! Tiny portions! Looked good! Don't even do cheese and biscuits. Waiter didn't refill our glasses. No table cloths. Plenty of room for improvement. Not all its hyped up to be.

Stayed here for one night. Delightful check in, receptionist actually took me to my room. It's years since I had that service. It's a bit stuffy with petty rules and dress codes but it's elegant charm compensates. Superb freshly cooked breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

From the moment we arrived we were looked after like royalty. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The staff very attentive. Magnificent setting on the banks of the river Thames. The English Breakfast was prepared individually and served hot. Delicious. Overall highly recommended.

This is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the river and explore Henley. We have been to Henley a couple of times during the Royal Regatta and it was nice to go back and see the town in a quieter state. Phyllis Court was a great place to stay. The room was lovely with...

This is an excellent location to explore this lovely area. The rooms are modern and ours looked out over the river with a lovely balcony. The dinner in the Orangery was relaxed and the service was good. Prices for food and drink are reasonable, Breakfast the following morning was good, cooked breakfast or continental. There is a dress code so...
