Food 4* Service 5* Dining area 5* VFM 4* We went as a family for afternoon tea. The place is an easy walk from the city centre. The atmosphere inside is lovely, old fashioned with silver service and attentive team members. It was a very nice 'experience' although at £40+ for 5 people having tea and scones it really should...

We stayed in the Old Parsonage Hotel at least 20 years ago and on our was from South Wales to London Heathrow to fly home we broke the journey at Oxford for 2 nights on October 28th and 29th 2014 and opted to return to the hotel. It has been refurbished but retains its slightly old fashioned charm. Our room...

Brilliant new refurbishment - cost downstairs public areas with open fire and sensational new library on the roof. Service friendly but impeccable with good staff ratio. Bedrooms good and beds very comfortable. Good location for the centre and bars/cafes of Jericho together with nice ambiance - maybe not bohemian as the literature suggests but relaxed and unpretentious. Not cheap but...

This is a small hotel right in the middle of the city, but from the inside you'd never know it. It is quiet and homely, a lovely haven for a romantic weekend. After its overhaul early in 2014, it looks terrific inside and out. Our suite was pristine, new throughout, with digital stereo at the bedside, very nice TV, silent...

Loved the hotel. Really plush and stylish experience. The beds were comfortable too. Staff were lovely and very attentive, special thanks to Erica who served us at breakfast and made our morning very enjoyable. Cool lights in the bathroom that go on automatically in the night so you don't stable. Luxurious toiletries, fluffy towels and the best shower! Thank you...

We stayed here at the end of our visit to the UK. We had stayed in a number of wonderful properties but this was the best one. The renovation has brought this boutique hotel up to the highest possible standard but you still have the fun of staying in a building dating back to the 1600s. We had an oversized...

Thank you for your kind words. Our 'can do' attitude ensures that the blind man will be here before the weekend, to measure the bathroom window. As the nights draw in and the leaves tumble, greater discretion will provided... Our cheese straws are homemade and prepared daily, using a shortcrust type pastry, so don't have the crunch of a flaky...

We always try a little constructive criticism. I cannot think of anything more I could ask, beautiful food, attentive polite staff, a beautiful interior and exterior as well as a great location. A bigger car park, a lift and doors that you don't smack your head on would be nice, bur this would take away tge stunning charm of this...

Absolutely spotless accomodation, perfectly situated for sight-seeing, food excellent, staff friendly, extremely helpful and professional. We can't praise this lovely place enough. Will definitely be staying here again!

I had a hard time choosing a place to stay in Oxford but I'm glad I ultimately picked this one. Our room was very comfortable and quiet...given that we were getting over jet lag we appreciated that. And the staff of the hotel and restaurant were attentive and accommodating. For those interested in sightseeing, the hotel is near the bus...
