Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

All we needed was a base for a couple of nights, ideal for that. However my son was ill and we ended up spending a whole day in our room. The staff were great, in particular the one lady on reception (I wish I knew her name) she was fantastic! Thank you ☺️

Rooms felt very old and outdated and there are very few outlets. We were on the first floor and I could hear people walking down the hall all night long and doors slamming. One night was the most I'd want to stay here. It is not a room you'd want to hang out in but was okay for sleeping and hitting the road early. Parking was free.

One night stay - excellent price. The hotel is a little run down, but the rooms are large, clean, comfy and quiet. For the bargain price we paid, would stay again. Approximately 25 min drive to central Oxford. Within the services was a McDonalds, Waitrose and Petrol Station.

Hard bed with smelly blanket and a toilet seat that was not attatched properly so it kept sliding off when you sat on it. Nice staff, but they didn't get our liscence plate so in the morning they said " well we hope you don't get a ticket" I hope not either since we stayed at your establishment! Tiny grocery store next door, also 4 Starbucks.

Easy stay with minimal stress. Suzi the manager is an absolute legend if you need any help. Rooms are great and spacious but they are split into like a modern and older wing. Staff are helpful and will do all they can to help. Stayed regularly with work and can't say I have any issues with the place

Perfect for what we needed which was a night stay as we travelled down South. Arrived at around 10pm and was checked in immediately. Staff double checked that the car reg was correct which was nice. Room clean, modern, nice and spacious. We booked an Executive Double Room and this came with a double and a single bed (wasn't needed). Bathroom was fine and shower powerful & hot. Bed was comfortable and slept well. No issues with noise. Overall, would happily stay here again as it met the requirements for an overnight stay whilst travelling.
