My wife and I stayed at the Cotswold Lodge during or two day visit to Oxford. I must say that the location is fantastic, a short walk to the City Centre but also has a bus stop immediately outside. We found our stay a real pleasure. The hotel is beautiful, clean and a real homely feel. The staff were helpful...

I stayed for a few days when I visited the Oxford Literary Festival. The location of the hotel was perfect as I could walk into the centre of town very easily and it is also next to the University Parks. There are lots of places to eat nearby and the hotel food is also very good. The hotel itself is...

Stayed for two nights and had a really lovely, relaxing time staying here. Staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a fifteen minute walk from the centre of the city, the museums and parks and gardens. The breakfast was very good, although the poached eggs did taste of vinegar(!) and set us up for the day. Would...

I stayed for a couple of nights as it was conveniently located in relation to a university college I was visiting. The room was large and comfortable. There was no lift, so I felt fortunate to be travelling light. But the staff is helpful, so that should not normally be a problem. The hotel is located about 15 minutes' walk...

I booked three rooms at this hotel so that six of us could go to the theatre and also have afternoon tea at the hotel. The hotel is in a good location and a comfortable walk into the city centre. A real bonus is that they have plenty of free parking. Other similarly central Oxford hotels charge £30 per night...

Not bad, and I understand the place is in the process of being upgraded. Room clean though a little pokey but quality cooked breakfast though no fresh croisants continental hit and miss and food generally so so. Parking difficult and restricted but handy for the bus route into the city centre and a quality eatery(You need to book) across the...

Arriving on a last minute booking, we were delighted with our choice. Parking was easy, allowing us to take the bus into the city centre to sightsee, then enjoy the short stroll back through the streets of Oxford. We appreciated the friendly service of reception and breakfast room staff. Our room was very clean and quiet, and a surprising bonus...

Comfortable homely hotel close to City Centre. Old fashioned but everything worked fine - WiFi, TV etc. Room basic. Comfortable bed. Thin walls - so hope neighbour is not noisy. Food good. Service slightly slow when busy but very friendly and helpful. Free parking. Would recommend.

I stayed at Cotswold Lodge hotel for 1 night on my trip to attend a dance festival in Oxford. Hotel is very pretty and charming with plenty of parking space and it is a short distance to the central area. 24 hours reception which is very good as I was coming back late. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Room is...

A short walk north of the centre of Oxford, this hotel offers a very comfortable, formal, but not stuffy environment for eating, drinking, relaxing and sleeping. Off-road parking seems sufficient. I was in a wonderfully spacious suite, the Somerville (room 1) for just UKP200. Dinner was excellent. Bed very comfortable. Two minor quibbles - wifi seemed to struggle to cope,...

Visitors are assured of a warm welcome and a highly professional level of service, whether they are popping in for a coffee, meeting someone for lunch, staying at the hotel or hosting an event. The elegant Victorian building combines period features such as bay windows, high ceilings and open fireplaces with all the facilities required by today’s business and leisure travellers, including secure wireless broadband internet access. All our guest rooms offer a good level of comfort and privacy. Our ten feature rooms are named after Oxford colleges and retain the distinctive architectural features of the original building. Restaurant 66 has a modern, fresh design and an acclaimed menu. We also have a welcoming bar, charming terraces, a spacious drawing room and a Mediterranean-style courtyard garden. The Norham Suite is the ideal venue for business meetings, private dining functions and special events such as weddings, birthdays and parties.
