Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Booked an overnight stay here whilst visiting family. I booked a Premier Plus room and it was great. Located on the top floor, the room was very quiet. Very nicely decorated and the extra features make all the difference. Mini fridge, bedside usb ports, large walk in shower and more. It certainly was worth it to pay the small amount extra to upgrade. Everywhere was very clean. My only slight quibble was that the room became very hot and we couldn’t get the cool air to work properly other than that a brilliant stay.

We stayed here for two nights and ate in the adjacent Beefeater having opted for the meal deal. Check in was easy, the room was clean and warm, just what we expected from Premier Inn. We needed an extra towel and got one, we wanted another mug, nothing was too much trouble. We thought it all good value. Breakfast and dinner in the adjacent Beefeater was good value for money, not pretentious. An enjoyable stay

Stayed 12/4 for two nights. Friendly check in from Silverlo. Room 511 large room spotless clean. Unfortunately a shower over bath but powerful. Very large premier inn, rooms all over a few buildings. Good location near park and ride for Oxford. No complaints all as expected. Had breakfast at beefeater again as expected, most beefeaters are dark and dated but did the job with a hearty breakfast. Happy to stay again.

Had 2 night here mid April, Check in was a miserable experience. staff obviously not very happy and it showed. We were told we HAD to book for breakfast in the beefeater next door, this was NOT the case, as people were walking in of the street. That was a poor experience too, tables filthy and uncleaned , very little choice and grossly overpriced. we ended up going to town for breakfast and dinner the next day. The rooms were fine, clean and comfortable. I probably would not go again and look for somewhere more cheerful.

Whilst a patron at the hotel, I was issued a Parking Charge by Horizon Parking who manage the parking for this hotel. I contacted Premier Inn and asked them to confirm to Horizon that the charge was a mistake, they were no help whatsoever telling me they have nothing to do with parking. And to appeal the parking charge. I followed their advice and appealed the parking charge following instruction on the Horizon website only to have it rejected, stating that I did not follow direction of the signage entering my registration on site! I wrote to the hotel asking them to assist with the matter explaining that I didnt realise I needed to do this or notice any signs stating that I needed to. It is clearly just a mistake as I was a patron and would they liaise with Horizon confirming this and get the parking charge removed. I have heard nothing back from Premier Inn at all. I travel all over the country for work, but I will not be using another Premier Inn or recommend them to any business colleagues or friends!! I had the same happen at a Ramada Hotel also in 2024 and it was dealt with without any problem at all. I think its disgusting that Premier inn will not just confirm that it is a genuine mistake and I am having to take time out of a very busy schedule to try and resolve the matter with Horizon, or just pay the parking charge which I feel is unjust but don't want the charges to escalate to a larger sum.

Very quiet and clean, great for families . There is an on site beef eater restaurant and a shopping outlet across the road as well as a bus stop where you can catch the bus into Oxford. The restaurant was amazing with very helpful and friendly staff, the staff members at the hotel on front desk weren't as friendly but we're helpful with our requests we made. Would definitely recommend ,it is a great location and place.

We had an accessible room with lowered bath booked for 2 nights. When we arrived we were directed to another building. The doors are not automatic to the rooms making it hard or wheelchair users. Our bed was a small double at best and was booked for 2 adults one who was in a wheelchair. There were stains all over the walls. Pink mould behind the tap. The noise from the room above was unbearable. When we raised this we were offered a different room for the second night which was worlds apart from the first one it was fantastic and just what we needed. Could not have asked for more but we had to pack up and vacate the first room so it could be cleaned and the next room was not ready for a few hours which left us having to vacate the hotel even though we had booked a 2 night stay

The room was fine. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a good night’s sleep. The hotel was near a busy road but no road noise was heard. The bathroom door needed attention as there was bad splintering at the top of it and the sealant around the sink wasn’t done well.

Check in was fine and the staff at the desk were pleasant. Our room was not good. Firstly the lift was broken which we weren't informed about. We can manage stairs with our luggage but I'm sure some other people may not have been able to. Perhaps inform that the lift is broken or offer help with luggage up the stairs? Our room was ridiculously far away from the entrance. Again not really a massive issue to us but other guests may have found the long walk a struggle and staff could have asked if any mobility issues? The window in our room did not open???? Not broken as there was an actual sign saying this window does not open. I struggle to sleep without air coming into the room. Had I have known that requesting a window that opens was a thing I would have done that but I thought that was a given?? There was an air con in the room however this only went down to 17 degrees which is far warmer than I am used to. Again this might not be a problem for some people. The advertisement in the room said the meal deal with the beefeater was £25.99 however on purchasing the meal deal it was £27.99. the man at reception informed me this price had been changed for a while and there was nothing he could do. I advised him they need to remove the posters as this is false advertising. Also our television randomly turned itself on at 7am waking us both up! Very disappointed in our stay with premier Inn.
